My husband and I recently stayed in the Carriage House. We had lots of room to relax. We also had our own coffee pot so we could wake up before going down to get our breakfast from the main house. Breakfast was available early, which is good for bikers who want to hit the trail. I especially enjoyed the banana nut muffins and the yogurt. . Our room was decorated with a Missouri, bicycle, and train theme. We had a picnic table and some chairs on our porch. The hammock was wonderful! wish we had one in our own yard. There were board games available in the Carriage House and in the main house. You could also buy soft drinks and/or a frozen pizza. That is a nice option since there are some days when there is not much open in town. We arrived on a Sunday evening and had we known about the possibility of frozen pizza, we would not have had to worry about finding something to eat for dinner in transit. We flew to Columbia and did not have a car, so our options in that regard were rather limited. The inn-keepers don't live on-site so you get lots of privacy. If you need anything though Tawnee is very responsive and just a phone call away. There is also a place to store bikes securely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rocheport, exploring the Katy Trail, and relaxing at the Katy Trail Bed and Bikefest.
