“Great atmosphere, food and view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2014

Like everything at Big Cedar, the "theming" and the view are over the top. Nothing can compare. I truly enjoyed the food as well. The service was top-notch too. I am already looking forward to returning. While the prices are a bit night for lunch, it surely is in keeping with the prices charged by a resort.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2014

The food and view at Arnie's was awesome. Beef tacos were prepared perfectly. Margaritas were delicious. And after dinner, the sunset was breathtaking. Do not forget your camera!!!

“Beautiful place..BUT...overpriced and average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2014

The work and vision that Johnny Morris has put into the Top of the Rock facility is just incredible, the views are awesome, the atmosphere is one of a kind....BUT....The facility has three resturants and it would be nice if there were three options for dining. Instead the Osage & Buffalo grill serve the same overpriced menu. And the only other option is Arnies Barn which oddly enough has a Mexican menu and this is where we ate. The food was only average but way over priced, we had two fajitas and a cheeseburger and our bill was over $80.00. The menu at both resturants are very limited in the options. The menus on the website did not match the menus on display in the main foyer and those don't match the menus that you get in each restaurant. I had Churros for desert and they were 6 very small pieces (8.00) and were pretty greasy, the chocolate dipping sauce was way to rich to even eat. The service was good and the detail that has gone into the buildings was unbelievable, they just need to focus more on the quality, price and range of options on the menu. They also need better signage to direct you around the facility. Be sure to visit the wedding chapel and its stunning views of Table Rock lake, but good luck finding it. You have to go to the basement in an unmarked elevator, through a cool rock tunnel and around the wine bar through a very small private dining room and squeeze against the wall to get around the table and then you come out onto a terrace with an awesome view of the lake and an infinity pool with a stunning sculpture of an Indian brave on horse back, then hang a quick left and follow the stone path to the chapel. Several of the staff all said the menus keep changing and there were a lot of things when asked they did not know. The facility has only been open since June so I'm sure there are still hiccups they need to overcome and I hope they do because it is a beautiful place.

“Wonderful Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2014

The food is fresh, New Mexican style! good presentation! and priced fairly. Bar drinks are excellent. Very well priced children's options. Atmosphere is wonderful, inside and out. This is a dining Experience, and the effort to get there is worth it! Drive to visitor center, take shuttle up to top of hill. Breathtaking scenery! The Barn itself is massive and the decor is rustic/refined/elegant.
Server was busy, but very nice. Service was a bit slow, but we were all looking at everything so was fine. Kids LOVED the wooly mammoth and bear skeleton in the entrance area. Nice gift shop, extraordinary grounds. It is a don't miss for Branson if you enjoy casual fine dining.

“Atmosphere and View--Food's good, too!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2014

The new Arnie's Barn restaurant at Top of the Rock, the amazing partner development of Big Cedar Lodge near Branson, is truly a destination not to be missed. There are three dining experiences to choose from at Top of the Rock. Arnie's Barn, which was moved from Arnold Palmer's home town in Latrobe, PA, and rebuilt on site, serves Mexican food for the most part and overlooks Top of the Rock's fabulous driving range and par 3 golf course. You can either self-park and ride a free shuttle to the restaurant or valet park. Bring your golf clubs and hit some balls on the lighted driving range, which may be the most impressive facility of its kind in America. Reservations are recommended, but if you can't get a table, just walk down to the other end and go downstairs to the Buffalo Bar, where the food and view are equally good.
