Very comfortable, convenient to shopping and Washington Univ. campus. The best perks were the free shuttle to area locations, which in our case, was the campus. I attended my son's fencing tournament at the Athletic Club in Creve Coeur, and would have to hog the car for the entire day, so the shuttle was extremely helpful (and free)! The breakfast was fine, but the only complaint I had was that the waffle maker was in a separate break-out room, off the lobby. I didn't notice it till we were done and leaving the area, so it would have been nice to have it right beside the other hot breakfast items, especially since I'm vegetarian, and wanted more than just scrambled eggs and toast. The room had a full kitchen, dishwasher, stove, microwave, full-sized fridge, and laundry on our floor (9th). Utensils, dishes and small appliances were in the cabinets. The only downside was the sofabed, which was very uncomfortable. I'll make a note to bring a foldable board to insert between the mattress and coils, for this and just about every other hotel with sofabeds. I had the view of the highway and train, which rumbled low and deepp every other hour - not enough to wake me, but disconcerting the first time I heard it (thought heavy truck or minor earthquake). Kids loved the pool, which was just big enough to do short lap swims.
