Owner owned, older motel it was comfortable and clean. A nice relaxing pool and lounges and chairs in the shade or sun if you wanted.

Remember car trips and small Mom & Pop owned motels with the owners apartment attached to the Lobby??? The Golden Door is that place. The owners love their motel and enjoy interacting with their guests.
The motel has large, tree shaded, grassy courtyard with the pool in the middle. The grounds are beautiful.
Parts of the motel date back to the 1960's and 70's so be prepared... and enjoy some of the "retro" feel. Carpets are showing their age and wear, but overall the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The beds were great and the A/C worked well.
And... Bring your charcoal and apron. There is a grill on the side of the courtyard.
We will return!!!
