“One Star Only Because Zero Isn't a Choice”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2011

I read the other reviews, Anyone giving this place more than one star must have confused this sub-Motel 6 with a real motel. First, it's old. Old is ok, but it's dirty. the carpet is sticky, the bathroom... won't go there! They did leave one tiny bar of broken soap. The towels had another hotel name on it, so they buy them used. The wash cloth had a one inch hole in the center. It's noisy between rooms and floors and the traffic on I-70. Small, old, TV with a bad speaker in our room, which they will not fix. How do I know this? The ice machine is broken and was covered with dust so it hadn't just broken. I booked this on Priceline and of course pre-paided. When I checked in the owner/operator said I'd have to pay because "his fax machine is broken so he had no proof I'd paid". Even with my print out, I had to double pay. The next morning I called Priceline about this. Priceline called me back and said no one was answering the phone. Mom and Pop were cleaning rooms so the office was empty! Priceline ask me to have them return their call. When I checked out, Mom was in the office. She doesn't speak English. So I wrote a note. Priceline was never able to contract this dump. I protested the double charge with my credit card. It took FOUR months for one of the room charges to be reversed. Only plus, the 'free' breakfast was okay...

Room Tip: If you just have to stay here because your car broke down, ask for a south side room away from I-70...

stayed here one night and wished we have driven farther to some place else. It was a cheap motel but not even worth the price. The carpeting was filthy, and no amenities of any kind. It seemed like a construction workers camp. Gave us the creeps.....

We found the room to be priced well, room was very spacious with two double beds, a table for two, and the standard dresser. Most rooms come with a fridge and microwave as well, but ask if you need one. Quiet location, walking distance to eating and minor shopping. Staff are very nice and helpful. We would recommend this to other travelers.

This place falls in the "you get what you pay for" category. What do you expect for $45/night? If you're really strapped and don't mind a tiny, somewhat noisy cell of a room that's not particularly clean, go for it.

The guy checking us in was perfectly pleasant, of course. I don't want this place to go out of business, but if you're used to something a little nicer, like a Best Western, you might want to keep driving.

This motel was very nice and clean, and very reasonably priced. The beds were comfortable, and the microwave and refrigerator in each room was a nice plus. The only drawback is that the walls are pretty thin. If the neighbors are loud, it can be distracting.

Although this property an hour from the airport i must say the rooms in this hotel were clean. Like most places the staff was friendly and gave us a great rate. The breakfast was simple but really nice, i love the coffee they made too. I would suggest all my friends to stay here
