“NO RUNNING WATER!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

Affordable should not equal uninhabitable. I gave it the one star for the pool alone. The staff were all rude and lazy except one tall gentleman who was the only one that would help with anything in the evening. He was running like a crazed headless chicken trying to maintain while all the ladies on staff were too busy to look up from whatever they were into to answer why there were no towels in the building clean and why it took over 4 hours of "30 more minutes in the dryer". The AC unit was incredibly loud and then it would quiet down after 20 minutes or so due to it no longer cooling. Only one out of the four ice makers were functional. In the morning we woke to the running water in the whole hotel completely out. I stay at Chouce Hotels exclusively and i would even say unless it is rebuilt and restaffed, don't bother. There are much cheaper places that will treat you far better.

Room Tip: Just go elsewhere.

“hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

I was a little nervous pulling in but the front desk staff was very nice the room we had was very spacious and very cheap. We only stayed one night the breakfast included the usual ceral muffins sausage links and waffles they had a little game room that my kids really enjoyed along with the pool. The door in the bathroom did look like it maybe had been wet a few too many times and there were stains on the carpet but that is not something that concerns me a lot beacuase any older motel is going to have that....overall I was very pleased

“I'd rather stay in a tent!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

The sheets were stained. The carpet - stained in huge spots. The light fixtures in the bathroom were flickering and the covers for the light fixtures were laying under the sink. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. No washcloths. No facial tissue. Ice machines were either out of order or contained no ice! Dirty coffeemaker. Broken beer bottles and cardboard boxes from beer cases were laying around in the parking lot. Looked like no one ever cleaned up the parking lot. Cigarette butts were laying all around the front entrance. The doors to the hotel in the back were unlocked and never able to lock. See pictures attached!! They were also listed on the bedbug database last year (july 2011). I looked AFTER my kids had some red bumps that appeared to be bites. Breakfast - only hot items were waffles and sausage and hardly any of that! I will never go back to that place. Not worth the money! Bottom line - stay in a tent if you want something a few stars up from this hole in the wall!

Room Tip: Want a good room - don't stay here.

“Pretty deceived”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012

I have to state that first and foremost the only reason why I'm at his hotel is because we're here for a church trip and most of the other hotels in the city are booked solid for the week. I drove 6 hours from Omaha Nebraska only to pull up to a hotel where the "Quality" wasn't lit up. I didn't think anything of it at first but once I got to my room and smelled it and then realized my door didn't lock? I was very nervous because this hotel doesn't even look great from the outside and the neighborhood didn't look too bad but having a bar right next door kind of sparked some concern. The paint or wallpaper on the wall has water damage and all, the bathrooms are disgusting, everything is dusty, the staff wasn't very hospitable, just bad. You should never have to go to a hotel and then search for a walmart that's open after 10 p.m. to purchase bed sheets in order to stay in the hotel. That alone is not even acceptable. I should not have to purchase my own clean sheets to stay in a hotel room. Rooms on the first and second floor had windows that were busted out. The refrigerator was dirty along with the microwave. The carpet was "slick" and very dirty. It looked like there were throw up stains right on the carpet outside of my room. The hotel staff seemed to be just "chilling" and hanging out. I must say that you truly get what you pay for. I wouldn't reccommend this hotel for anyone even if you're dog tired. It's just scary and it makes you feel unsafe I only slept like 3 hours waking up every 30 mins (go figure)

Room Tip: Ask for a room that's clean. Do your own evaluation before you hand them your credit card. They...
