We probably would have enjoyed going to the seed store during regular hours instead of during the Spring Planting Festival. We read online about this event and decided we would go since it sounded so exciting. It did not say that we should have the bodies of 20 yr. olds to maneuver the maze. We walked about a 1/4 mile to get to the gate. No handicapped parking. (my husband is DAV) Then when we entered it was straight up a hill, about the length of a football field to get to the seed store, which was our ultimate reason for going. The only food was vegan hotdog, egg rolls, or vegan steak sandwich, (don't know what the steak part was) or fried rice plate with tofu dumplings. There were some delicious cinnamon rolls, tho. There were very few places to sit or get something to drink. We were so tired and hot and hungry and thirsty that we did not stay to see all the vendors merchandise. We had driven 180 miles. The festival was not very well organized. But we did get the seeds we wanted. (could have done that online.) The staff in the seed store were knowledgeable and helpful, so this does not reflect Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Co. per say.
