This was a welcome addition to the chain restaurants in Lees Summit! No, it's not a chain. Locally owned and operated. I'm not sure what the one reviewer was talking about the food to being inventive??? We thought it was! Options like pot roast nachos, shrimp risotto, street tacos etc.... Not your average fare. They are decadent and indulgent though.... I'll give her that. We went for lunch on a weekday and were pleasantly surprised to see a really strong wine list with $5 glass pours! We had a few appetizers, both the bruschetta and bacon wrapped shrimp and they were excellent. The waitress told us that the owners came from McCormick and Schmidt. It showed, there's a lot of seafood and fish selections on the menu as well.... Again, very unusual for this part of the city. For our entrees, I had the street tacos, which were very flavorful and my friend had the shrimp wrap. Both were great. We split the apple tart for dessert. It was very good as well. We were told everything is made in house. Service was attentive and friendly. Overall, it was a definite winner and I will be back!
