Ok so after reading some of these reviews, I kinda feel like I should stick up for this restaurant. First of all, its fine dining which tells me right away that it is going to be expensive. Duh! Second, the staff was outstanding went above and beyond to make mine and my husbands meal fantastic. Tony was our server and he did so well, he was well informed of the specials, was personable with us without being over bearing. A young lady said hello to us right in the entry way and guided us all the way to where we needed to go. The upstiars dining area does not seat until 5pm but this time of year it is an expanded menu, so while I was able to eat light my husband had steak and lobster. Let me just say the food was so wonderful, I have eaten in a lot of restaurants in the area and not one of them adds up to Hook's. As far as atmosphere, I love the jazz theme in the bar area, the view is out of this world, and right now they are already in the holiday spirit (maybe a little early) but you can tell these decorations were done by hand with a lot of hard work and love. I will go back again, and again and again. And if you are reading this and have read other reviews, I would just say....some people just can not be made happy, and misery loves company. Oh and if your a fan of creme brule, it IS made in house with different flavors, like the one we had pumpkin spice. mmmmmmm
