“Lots of Lake History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

This is a very nice place with lots of history on the lake. It can be rented for events and is a nice sitting for them. The views are great from here. Right by the Dam so very easy to get to and worth a stop if you are in the area and want to learn about the history of the lake. The people are all very friendly and helpful.

“Our Piece of History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

I am so lucky to live here at the lake full time after retiring. I always visitors to Willmore so they can see the history of our dam. My garden club planted the beautiful point at Willmore back in 2005. It has the best view at the lake and many weddings take place here. The history of the dam being built in early 1930's is a wonderful piece of history which transports you there through film. If you visit the lake, you should not miss this, it's FREE!!!!!

We found the imuseum about the dam and the area quite informative. The lodge is impressive. It also had various tourist information available. Worth the stop.

“Really interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Many interesting exhibits (most multimedia) and photographs of the building of the lake and the dam. Neat old lodge building. Very worthwhile. Also you can go across the road to a neat overlook to view the dam
