Stayed at the Rockwood with my family, and was very pleased with the accomodations and the friendly atmosphere. Great location as is close to everything, the pools were the cleanest I have seen and very inviting and relaxing, the kids had fun on the old "Strip" area. It was nice to have just found this nice, clean and safe place with all the nostalgia and that old time feeling! Whenever in Lake Ozark, this is where I will stay! Thanks!

This is an excellent example of the old highway hotels of yesteryear that has been well maintained and cared for. I stayed in a small stone bungalow with a kitchenette. The room was furnished nicely with mostly vintage wood furniture. Had a large kitchen area with microwave, fridge, coffepot, toaster, dishes and dining table, small bathroom (shower only), and sleeping area. Seasonal pool, friendly staff, decent parking. Reasonably close to the old strip and McDonalds across the street. Free WIFI, although it was not always working. Perfect for a small family outing.

I live just outside of St. Louis and love going to the Lake for a quick getaway. This was my second stay at Rockwood. Facilities are old – but charming. Clean and well kept. Seasonally, they have two pools and two hot tubs available. Family friendly and centrally located near the Bagnell Dam/tourist strip. Minutes from shops and restaurants, whether you are going to entertain small children or want to hit the adult night life. McDonalds across the street and plenty of fine dining establishments as well. This is a throwback motel from a long time ago, but you won’t be disappointed in the price or the service. Some units have kitchens and bedrooms and some are just rooms. Personally, I am getting a girl trip together soon and staying in the 2 bedroom bungalow – sleeps 7 and has a full kitchen. Looking forward to going back
