I grew up in Kirksville and have since moved away, but this is the one place I ust go every time I am back. It is a little pizza place in an old bank building on the corner of the square in Kirksville. They are famous for their "Ronza" which is a calzone. Even though some idiot sued them over the name and they had to change it to "Palonza", it will always be a Ronza to me and everyone else who have eaten them for the past 30+ years. Just down the street from Truman State University, this has always been a student hangout, and the place is decorated with Truman State (formerly Northeast Missouri State) sports photos, etc. Nothing fancy, but if you want pizza, this is the place. Of course, I can't imagine going there and not having the Ronza. They are so popular, they sell them uncooked and frozen, so you can take them home and make them. They will even pack them in ice for your trip. A great place!
