We needed a room for two needs for a wedding in town, so we opted to stay in the Motel portion of the property. When the reservations were made, the lady was rude and acted like she couldnt get off the phone fast enough. We ended up in a 3rd floor room, with 2 double beds (the room was booked for me and my husband). They didnt seem to care about it either. I had to settle for a luke warm shower, and the sink sprayed me everytime I turned it on. The decor on the walls were pics you could buy at a local garage sale from the 70's. It really is a dump and I am so sad to have to say it. BTW, would be nice if the restaurant was actually open. The property was full, yet the restaurant was closed. How crazy is that? And if you wanted to use the hot tub, too bad. It was out of order.
The price may be right, but honestly, you really dont save money if you have to drive to Branson any way. I recommend you stay closer to Branson.
Moving forward, we have learned a valuable lesson. Trade in the property for RCI points, and dont book a room here. I would love to visit every year, especially since we had our honeymoon in our timeshare, but think I will just store those memories away and go elsewhere.
I am wondering where all the "maintenance" fees that we pay each year are going too. They most definately arent going into the property.
