We book this hotel because of a concert we were going to at the Sprint Center. We book the room from the hotels website, and we booked the bed and breakfast package. That included an Executive King room, free valet parking, and a $35 food credit for breakfast the next morning. About a week before our arrival, I emailed the hotel and requested a upper floor room for the views, and when we checked in, we did receive a top floor room.
Check in was very fast and easy. The valet was very easy also. They got us a cart to put our bags on. It was me, my husband and our 22 year old daughter. If you are Claustrophobic of elevators, this is not the hotel for you. They are very small and can only really hold 4 people. The made my daughter nervous. LOL. It didn't help her that we were on the 20th floor. LOL.
The room looked exactly like the photos on the website. Been to many hotels where that is not the case!!! The views were amazing, especially at night. We had to get sheets and blankets for the pull out sofa for my daughter, and after calling the front desk, they were up within 5 minutes. The king bed was very comfy. For a room being known for the views, the blinds were full of dust!!!! Like they had not been cleaned for a long time, other than that, the room was very clean. The room was very large and spacious, but the bathroom was pretty small. One small sink and counter, but the faucet was very cool. Shower head could have been better. Also, the bathroom doors top hinge was broken, and this caused the door not to shut all the way, and we reported this as we checked out the next morning.
We spent a little time wondering the hotel, and it is beautiful!!!!! We had breakfast the next morning at 12 Baltimore which is the hotels restaurant, and it was very good and very nice place.
The hotel is also in easy walking distance of the Sprint Center and Power and Light District. Once we valet our car, we never used it again until checkout. We walked to our concert, then spent time in Power and Light after the show, then walked back to the hotel around 1am with no problem.
Other than a few little issues that were no big deal to us, we for a fact would stay at this hotel again. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.
