“Very Clean And Convenient”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Great location to stop if you're traveling I-29 or flying out of KC, very clean, courteous staff and there is a Cracker Barrel right next door. Continental breakfast is pretty standard but everything else about this hotel exceeded my expectations.

Room Tip: Use one of the discount coupons from the flyers that can be found in most rest areas or truck stops...

This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We are heading west and needed a place to stay April 16th. After a long day driving, we were looking at a coupon book making calls. Almost everything was full, we lucked out. We were able to use the coupon and even got an upgrade because of some confusion on check in. Had drinks and dinner- Great- and really good breakfast. Wish every town had a Drury Inn. Already have made reservations for Friday night. All the staff were so nice and helpful.

Room Tip: Always check the coupon books. Make sure the rooms are bug free.

We have stayed at several Drury Inns throughout the Midwest. The one less than four minutes from the KC International Airport is one of the best. The staff are so friendly and nice, they really make your stay there worthwhile. Drury Inns have a welcome happy hour and light fare that some would consider a value dinner and a full morning breakfast all included in your very reasonable room rate. We have stayed at the KC Airport location more than a dozen times while visiting our kids and granddaughter. Downtown KC is only a ten to fifteen minute drive. We used to stay at the Embassy Suites on the Plaza but have found that the Drury Inn Airport relieves some of the stress of having to get up at 4:30 a.m. to catch that first flight out on a for hire airport shuttle. Now we save an extra hour of sleep, along with a complementary five minute ride to the United gate thanks to the Drury Inn for a lot less money. Truly a great value.

Room Tip: Ask for early check in and they will accommodate you if the room is available at no extra charge. T...

My husband and I had a great stay at the Drury Inn. We had an early flight (and on daylight savings time to boot) so we booked a room to shorten the morning drive to the airport the next day. They have a very nice evening kickback with food and drinks - you can really get your fill. We had to leave in the morning before the full hot breakfast was served but they had some continental breakfast items out already. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay near the airport. Also the AC stays on, which I love!

The hotel room was very clean. Extra towels and wash cloths were in the room as requested. The Front Desk was both friendly and extrememly helpful. Would stay again. Really liked that the bed room was separate from the living area, very helpful if you are traveling with little ones.

We stayed 2 nights with our small dog 1st week of January. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Happy Hour was a real treat with hot appitizers and beer, wine, cocktails and soda. Didn't have to go out for dinner! There is also a wonderful hot breakfast buffet of waffles, biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, etc. Great coffee! Not the usual weak hotel coffee. We had 2 rooms on the top floor which were very roomy and quiet. Even though this hotel is near KCI we never heard any noise from jets or airplanes. We would recomend this property for singles and families.

Room Tip: Top floor is very quiet!

Typical Drury way of hospitality. Free shuttle to airport was waiting for me by 5:20AM.
I even had breakfast as early as 4:50AM. Hot brew coffee and cold breakfast items are available as early as 4:00AM.
The king bed is good but mattress is little bit soft for me.
