“Very Convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

This is an older hotel. It is very close to the airport, providing a free shuttle service. The staff is very friendly & accommodating. The room service was very good. The rooms are in need of upgrading, and it would be nice to see a larger club floor hospitality room. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: The corner rooms are the largest executive rooms. They are at the end of the hallways, and have lar...

While on a week long business trip our company put us up here. Although it is very convienient to the airport there isn't much else surrounding it within walking distance. If you are stuck without a rental car you will either get to know the hotel menu quite well or pay a lot of money in cab fare. The entire staff was exceptional and the bed extremely comfortable, although one person in our group complained about theirs. There is a man made lake on site if you are lucky enough to get a room with a view of it. Another drawback if you are staying somewhere for an extended period is that It is obviously used by the airlines and many mornings I was awakened very early with "hotel noise" as they got ready for their early flights.

Room Tip: If you are a smoker as one in our group was they have a few rooms with a patio exit right from your...

I stay at this hotel occasionally when I fly in to KC late and have a morning meeting. It is very convenient from the airport and the shuttle was prompt. Check-in was quick and efficient. The restaurant and bar are open late and the lobby is comfortable if you want to work a little bit outside of your room. They have the necessary amenities to buy in case you forget something and the restaurant staff offer Starbucks coffee to go in the morning. The rooms are comfortable with the usual Marriott bedding. This isn't a vacation destination and it doesn't try to be. It is a very convenient and comfortable airport location that provides a good value for a nights sleep.

I would guess that this hotel will need a big re-model soon, but it is v conveniently located by the airport and a large (man made) lake sits in front of it, so get a high room overlooking the lake (and the airport on the far side) if you like that sort of view. My room was on the "pool" level, one down from the lobby level and had a door that led out to a patio area with chairs. the service however was first class - I missed the laudry collection time and they arranged with the laundry company to return and pick my stuff up for a same day clean (at no extra charge) - that sort of service is worth a lot to me! Also plenty of free parking right outside.

Nice hotel...not typical, needs a refresh, but nice. Small lobby, nice workout room near lake on first floor. Hotel staff very nice and very responsive. There were some noisy twenty something's running up and down the hall intoxicated and the staff immediately nipped the problem. I had a package delivery and they easily retrieved it.... Good service. Again, I am only rating this hotel a 3 because it needs some work... Even a major Detailing would probably help. Staff and amenities all on par for Marriott. Good location near the airport with easy shuttle access. I would stay here again.

We flew from Kansas City to Oakland, CA and decided to do the Park 'N Fly at the Marriott. It was very nice. I would strongly suggest getting a floor 1 room with a nice porch faciing a lake. The upper floors have no balcony and the windows do not open. Having a floor 1 (we stayed in 105) ensures that you can get a fresh breeze when wanted. I rate this as a 5 if you get one of these rooms.

Stayed here for an overnight business trip. Very nice hotel. Check in was a little slow but not a big deal. They have drinks and food in the conceiger area which was a very nice touch. Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
