I stayed at the hotel for a night in the Power and Light district and had a great time. I've since stayed a few more times and had a great experience. Champagne when you check in was nice and really impressed my girlfriend. The location is perfect, walking distance to the bars. I've stayed a couple times since and walked to events at the Midtown and Sprint Center.

Once the front desk associate was a little slow and seemed lost for a bit. I told him I was in a bit of a rush since we were running late for a show and he offered to hold onto my car keys and wait for valet in order to allow me to get ready. I was able to leave and pick them up when I was coming back through. He was also willing to take pictures of me with my date as we were dressed up. Great personality.

On first view of the building, my date thought it looked old and wouldn't be nice. Once inside, she saw that it had some style and was really impressed.

My husband and I stayed here back in June to get away together for our anniversary. It was an amazing experience, the hotel had an awesome charm about it and the staff was WONDERFUL!!! I had a massage and facial at the spa, reasonably price and I enjoyed all of it. the rooms were very modernly decorated and the bed was quite comfortable and the room offered a great view of downtown. We had the 2 night w/ breakfast package and it was good, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, juice, the usual.

I have had two occasions to stay at this small boutique hotel and both times have been pleasantly surprised. The rooms, though small, have everything you need, free internet, great desk space, trendy colors, and comfy pillows and towels. Simple things like coffee, tea, and bathroom toiletries round out the pleasant stay.
This trip I tried the room service and it was timely, the food hot, and unbelievably delicious. Great job. These folks are doing it right. If traveling on business its so close to downtown you can walk everywhere and the Power and Light district is also close. Truly a nice hotel, at a great price

My husband and I chose this hotel for a romantic one-night getaway in KC (we live about an hour and a half away). This hotel is in a great location in KC and by far is the best rate for the money in downtown. I loved this hotel. The boutique hotel was decorated very chic and appealing to the eye. The only downsides I see to this hotel are the fact that it is small, but for two people it was fine, and the parking situation. If you stay at this hotel, know that you will have to pay for parking either in the garage across the road (which is very accessible UNLESS there is something going on in Municiple Auditorium or the Music Hall) or pay for the valet. Neither of these "negatives" turned us off of the Aladdin however and when we travel to KC again, we will definitely consider staying here again.
