We were in the area so we decided to take the tour of Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. It's one of the smaller ball parks which means no seat is too far from the action. They had a big renovation a few years ago that has brought the stadium up to the standards that baseball fans now expect. Every stadium needs a food and activity alley that was started in Baltimore with the opening of Camden Yards. This was added here with the renovation along with the giant video board in center field. We visited the KC hall of fame,(basically a George Brett HOF), the suites, the press room, the dugout, the 390 bar, and went on the field. You would never know the age of the park. They did a great job with the remodeling.. I'd love to see a game here.
