We stayed at the Chase Suite Hotel for an anniversary getaway. We were very pleasantly surprised. Kathy, at the front desk, was delightful, very friendly and remembered details about us the next morning at breakfast. She is definitely an asset to this hotel. Our room was a suite with a full kitchen and a beautiful fireplace. We were provided with a complimentary "paper" log that burned for several hours. There were complimentary soft drinks or adult beverages as well as horsdeuvres (light meal) between 5:30-7 pm. The hot breakfast in the morning that day was breakfast tortillas which were ok. Nice selection of other items as well. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and very spacious. If you are a family traviling, look no further. The price was great also! I highly recommend this hotel. They will even go and get you groceries if you need them. The only thing I would have changed would be to have an upstairs room because I could hear people walking around until 1:45 am and then up again at 5:45 above us. We will be back next year for our anniversary.

We enjoyed our stay very much, even though it was a holiday weekend and the hotel was short on staff we were well taken care of by house keeping.
The suite was very clean and spacious, felt like home. I loved the little working kitchen so I could choose to stay in and cook or go out my choice. There are several good restaurants very close by, some even within walking distance if you want to take a walk.
The food served for breakfast was pretty good!
Our house keeper Kathy was great, she made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
Checkout was a breeze just pick up the phone done!

This was an adequate hotel and served the purpose but it needs dedicated attention by management.

Room Type: 2 king bedroom suite - Penthouse Suite


Pros: Friendly office staff that are trying their best, very comfortable beds, free wireless internet, fair value

Cons: State of disrepair, torn furniture, musty rooms (first trip out was for Febreze), housekeeping was lacking, outdated

They have upgraded the single room suites, and if they get the 2 room suites upgraded, the place has potential.

A wonderful place to stay. Clean. Professional Staff. Wonderful Breakfast. Wonderful evening snack/meal. Wonderful pool. Wonderful location that is easy to get to - and to get to other locations in and around Kansas City.

Cant get much better than that!

Based on Trip Advisor reviews I made a three day reservation for June, 2005. The one bed suite we were assigned was awful. Dirty carpet, small bed mattress which was leaning, paint pealing outside. We asked to look at a two bedroom suite. This was even more of a joke. The downstairs "bedroom" was a murphy bed with no covers. The upstairs bed was the same joke as the one in the one bedroom. And more dirty carpets. This place is Awful. On the walkways near the pool a maid had dropped some towels and no one bothered to pick them up. Manning the front desk was a young kid with a constantly ringing phone. No one to help him and he ignored customers at the counter so he could take phone calls. This was mid afternoon on a Thursday.

We turned back in the keys and went down the street to the Marriott Courtyard for $10 more a night, free Internet and a great room.

Thre are a number of top notch hotels within a block or two of this dump.

Avoid this place at all costs.
