“Wonderful lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

Went to a favorite in KC for lunch today, the menu is always changing, always in season.
The service is always good, but today's waiter was better than usual. Had a great time.
PS. don't forget to save room for dessert- all made in house and only $3 each. It doesn't get any better.

“Couples night out!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

We went there for dinner with some friends of ours and I have to say, it was a very pleasant evening. We did make a reservation. The menu has very good choices and some very good dinner deals. The Sangria is awesome to say the least! If you make your reservation for early in the evening they have good appetizer deal and dinner deals (before 6 p.m.). It was well worth any money spent and we will definitely be going back!

“Pretty good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

The food was good but I think the waiter was new. He wasn't very attentive. Parking was interesting.

“Seems to be resting on awards from 2010.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

(Jameskc5000) hit it on the head. It is a quant little neighborhood bistro. Atmosphere is lively and noisy, good for family but loud for romantic evening. It appears since 2010 back when they won awards for the food the quality and or taste has changed. For instance their Classic Lobster Ravioli seem to have a thick glue like sherry tomato creme sauce. And the Lobster Ravioli had little to no lobster in them what so ever, which is why I think they added the shrimp to the dish to help fill you up. That was very disappointing. I thought the risotto lacked flavor and creaminess. Again, I acknowledge we all have different flavor profiles, but when i have to tear apart my food like Gordon Ramsey does to see whats in it, then there is a problem. Normally changes like this indicate that the Chef has given up on quality or has changed. And the reason most people come back to a place is the consistency. Although they do good repeat neighborhood business, I don't see myself recommending or visiting this place again.
