“great baseball package”

Went to Kansas city to see a MLB game with a total of 3 couples, we got all our rooms located next to each other. The shuttle rides were the best! Took us to the front gate of the baseball games, took and picked up to Power and light district, the Boulevard brewery and the city market. Got to enjoy the whole city. The driver Dan was specially nice and patient with our rowdy group. Thank you All this hotel needs now is a swimming pool and a restaurant.

Staying in Kansas City for a business conference, Wednesday through Sunday. Front desk and check-in seemed very organized, went smoothly and quickly. With the line of people in front of us it only took a couple minutes for us to register and be checked-in. This amidst the swarm of people enjoying the happy hour at the bar right next to the front desk. We found our room to be spotless and very well organized. Returning to the bar for happy hour, we found the bartender to be superbly cordial and expeditious. The following morning found us enjoying a complimentary breakfast, which included an omelet cooked to order, a fresh waffle, and this among the usual, coffee, cereal, bagel, toast, and juices normally expected. The breakfast staff was cordial and eagerly serving all of our needs. This true, even through the unusual rush of people. The Q advertised shuttle services, and we found the shuttle service to be suited our every need. With many different drivers, we were transported throughout the day and evening to and from every destination in a fast and safe manner. Where possible, they made use of the Toyota hybrid car. The location of The Q places is within two blocks of several dining choices, bars and pubs, and a large grocery chain store, and a large well-equipped gym.

I booked this hotel for my guests for my wedding. The hotel lost our blocked rooms twice. Some of my guests had purchased groupons, the staff was very rude to them when they called in to book rooms with their groupon. When we got there they didn't have any parking for us or most of our guests. They have a very small parking lot with no gate so anyone can park there. We saw multiple people park in their lot and walk to westport. I would never book at this hotel again. The only good thing was the shuttle driver that took us from our venue to the hotel. That service is the only reason we booked there and the only thing that was positive about our experience.

First, I am sorry that things did not go as planned for your stay. I know that we put a large amount of effort in providing the best stay for our guests. I also know that we should be putting forth the same effort with our wedding guests. As for the parking, we do provide on site security in the evenings on weekends to help curb the illegal parking of vehicles. We do not limit how many vehicles our guests have on site, but I will look for other answers in solving this problem.

i am glad to hear that the shuttle drivers did provide great service for you and your guests.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding, and I thought it was a very nice hotel. The front desk was friendly, allowing us to check in 2 hours early. The shuttle service was convenient and the driver was friendly. The breakfast staff was also great. Being a early riser, I was downstairs as soon as breakfast started(6 or 7). Even that early, all of the staff were still energetic and ready to help. Overall, this is an average hotel, but if you can find the hidden gems, your stay will be much more enjoyable.

This hotel is a good value. The rooms and bathroom area are small and could use some updating. There was only one chair in our room. The beds are reasonable but pillows are hard. Our television did not work one morning (an on-screen message said something about the signal), and the shower water volume was very low. The location is within walking distance of a number of restaurants and bars. The breakfast is better than average for a "free" breakfast, with omelets made to order. Our room was quiet and clean. All in all, the hotel did not disappoint, primarily because the price was appropriate for the quality of the hotel.

The customer service at the front desk and at the manager's reception was fantastic. The rooms were nice, but I agree with previous reviews that the pillows aren't the most comfy for my taste. The room itself was very clean and the shower and toilet were clean, but the bathroom fixtures were older and needed some updates. Water pressure in the shower was great though and unlike what other reviews said, we did have a fridge in our room!

The hot breakfast, managers reception, and shuttle service were awesome. No complaints!

The hotel is located in a fabulous neighborhood with so much to do nearby. We had a great time just walking to various bars/restaurants/shops within a few blocks of the hotel, and people in the area are very friendly and helpful overall.

We stayed the last weekend of May/first weekend of June. The location of this hotel is awesome!!! I loved how you could take a short walk to restaurants, bars, and stores. We stayed in a Euro Balcony room. It was kind of small, but that is also what you should expect based on the description the website provides. The complimentary breakfast was nice. It can be slightly intimidating if you don't know the process to order your omelet or waffle though. We also experienced the early morning fire alarm that was malfunctioning... Definitely not a plus, but I would hope that doesn't happen on a regular basis. I thought the 2 free drinks were a nice plus even though we didn't get a chance to use them. The front desk employees were very friendly at check-in/out and very helpful when recommending a place to get dinner. Make sure to call the hotel directly to place your reservation and ask for the best deal available (we definitely saved some money by doing so!). I would definitely stay at the Q Hotel again.

Room Tip: 3rd or 4th floor Euro Balcony on Westport.
