Visited Maker's Mark for dinner on a Thursday evening after a conference. We were seated immediately and there were maybe two other tables with customers. We waited probably five minutes before or server came with water and asked for drinks. Neither of us had an alcoholic beverage so we can't speak for their bourbon menu, although it appeared extensive. On Thursday night's they have $1 lobster tail that you can add to any of the steaks. Steaks range in price from approximately $24 - $35 each. I ordered the 10 ounce prime rib with the $1 lobster tail. The meal came with the chef's potatoes which were a mustard mashed potato (they were pretty good) and the vegetable of the day which were green beans in garlic (frozen and flavorless...not to mention still cold. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came medium well - very disappointing! The lobster must've been bought in the dollar aisle as it was very dry and flavorless. My husband ordered the steak soup for an appetizer - it was ok...a stew essentially. He ordered the braised short ribs. He's a big boy and let's just say the portion was tiny! Maybe 4 ounces of meat with potatoes and a few slivers of carrots. Needless to say he ate most of mine. Overall a disappointing experience as the bill was $75.
