“Not up to Microtel standards”

The place is a little shoddy. We've stayed in a lot of Microtels. This is one needs to be refurbished. Breakfast bar is minimal. Really weak coffee. No fruit for breakfast. Cracker Barrel is a short walk away, if you are into mediocre "southern" fare.

I apologize for the dissatisfaction you experienced during your stay here at the Joplin, MO Microtel Inn and Suites. We are in the process of refurbishing our property a little at a time, we just recently replaced all of our beds with new comfortable pillow tops. The continental breakfast that we offer is what is required by Microtel Inn and Suites standards. We are currently looking into adding some items to our breakfast but it has become a difficult task due to the lack of space in our breakfast area.
