“GREAT STEAK”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

Booked a table for 2 on Saturday 21st September. Was seated straight away even though it was very busy. Staff very friendly. Both ordered steaks and they were very good indeed cooked really well and very tasty. Can't wait to go back. Maybe this Saturday again here's hoping!

Good food well priced, good choice and very good hard working staff. Called in on a busy Sunday night without booking, no problem to seat us after short wait followed up by very attentive staff and very pleasant.

“Great steak”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013 via mobile

Taken here by friends. Know nothing about it, but it seems popular and had a most enjoyable meal. Starter of BBQ ribs which were melt-in-the-mouth and very nice. Other starters highly rated by friends. 12 oz Ribeye steak was well cooked, great quality meat and very tasty indeed. Comes with a few veg and tobacco onions, which are moreish! The bearnaise sauce was a bit weak, as were the fried potatoes with sour cream and chilli sauce (both extra cost) were in truth superfluous and probably best avoided. All rated the beef dishes, although stroganoff with peas and served on fried potatoes rather than rice was a new one on us.

No way to test the puddings, but the plates going to nearby tables looked big and sweet! Service absolutely fine and nothing like as poor as some have said. On a Tuesday night, surprisingly busy.

Clearly a place for the beef and well worth a visit. Good value lunch and evening options, including two main courses and bottle of OK bottle of wine for £25 good value.

“Excellent food & value for Money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

I visit here regularly to avail of the lunchtime specials. They offer a delicious hearty meal for only £5! Service has always been good & food fantastic. Very popular at lunchtime but service not effected by this. Drinks are a little pricey, but in conjunction with lunchtime offer, this is still a great place to have a cheap lunch without compromising on quality.
