“Comfy, Friendly Convenient to the Expressway”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our way from Biloxi, MS to Michigan. We arrived fifteen minutes late for happy hour and the desk staff would not make an exception for us even though we were tired. That was okay because we understood but it would have been nice since we had left Biloxi that morning. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the bedding was comfy. The only issue was a musty smell in the room.

This was our first time at a Drury Inn and we would stay at one again.

High standards of Drury Inns is no different at this one. So very clean, and all personnel are friendly and helpful. This one has been around longer than some, but you would never know it by the quality. This pool is all indoors, not indoor/outdoor like some. I love after traveling all day, not having to get out again to 'find' a place to eat. I can just go and eat what they have prepared for their guests and is free. Hot dogs for the kids and have added meatballs with sauce and noodles with sauce. Really good too. I truly like the celery/carrots and salad. The breakfasts are great too. I love the fresh oatmeal with the choices of raisins, brown sugar and granola. My husband like the waffles, eggs, biscuits/gravy.
STOP & STAY, you won't regret it.
There is a restaurant next door if that is your choosing.

Stayed at this property, decent price, somewhat impressive.

Nice clean room, great beds, linens, towels, etc. Great television station selection to choose from. Very nice staff, helpful and kind. The hot meals were a nice touch. Dinner not really much to select from, but it is included in the price, as well as 3 drinks (did not use because I don't drink). Nice touch though. Breakfast was decent also, again, part of the package. Overall the price was very fair.

Did not use the pool, it is indoors and looks nice and kept well.

The hotel overall could use a deep cleaning in public areas, as well as high dusting.

Easy in and out from the highway.

There is a little bit of road noise from the highway at night, but come on, the hotel sits next to the highway - what do you expect.

Really though, overall it is a very good property when you add it all up. Would I stay there again? Yes indeed.

Stayed at a Drury Inn for the first time and was very impressed. The hotel was clean, well lit and very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. When we checked in we were strongly encouraged to sample their buffet and received a card for three free cocktails each. The buffet, drinks and free breakfast would have pretty much covered the room price. There are microwaves, refrigerators and free wireless in the rooms. The pool and excercise room looked good. We found a coupon in the free travel books available at the waysides.

I stayed at this location on April 26, 2013 with my husband and son. We were greeted by a very pleasant hotel clerk who explained evening drinks and hors d'oerves and breakfast times. At Drury Inns guests receive a coupon for 3 drinks and heavy hors d'oerves which quite frankly is enough for a meal when travelling. The night we stayed there was cream of broccoli soup, salad, meat balls in sauce, pasta in sauce, hot dogs, chips, salsa, carbonated beverages and the option of up to three alcoholic beverages that included beer, wine or mixed drink such as a margherita. The room was comfy and the bathroom clean. Noise from the interstate highway was not a concern. The only issue we had occurred because it was raining upon departure. The cover over the main entrance had a break between it and the main building allowing rain to fall between. We did get wet loading our luggage in the trunk of our car. Not a big deal but something that could be better. The value was great as we had both our dinner and breakfast included. This location shows its age a bit but is well maintained.

This is flat out the best motel for the money I've ever stayed at. What a value! With our AARP discount the bill came in under $90.00 and that included dinner and breakfast. Every square inch of this place is spotless. Our room was very comfortable, quite and smelled good. The pool and hot tub were extremely clean and refreshing. My wife and I were both given a ticket good for three free drinks each. What a treat after a long day on the road! While we were enjoying our free dinner and drinks, the manager went around and asked everyone what they thought of the food and the rooms. They really care!

There is a restaurant just across the parking lot called Los Portales. It's a good Mexican restaurant. We stay at this Drury about 2 times a year and usually have a meal there.

If you have to stop on this stretch of highway for the night this is best place to stay. It was worth the money for our family. Clean, quiet room. My daughter loved the pool. Fed both breakfast and dinner (included in the room rate). All of the staff were polite and helpful, especially the night manger that greeted us and others at the dinner, made conversation with all the guest and even was cleaning tables to help staff.
