My mother and I stayed two nights, we wanted to stay more.
This is a great place for families. There is a lot interesting history behind it. One of my favorite places there is Lover's Leap, it is absolutely beautiful, and a great place for taking pictures, and of course the legend of Lover's Leap makes it a little bit more interesting. There are a lot of cute shops. The Rockcliffe Mansion is a must see, the staff is very nice, the tour was very cool at a great price. We went on the Trolley that helped us find out where everything is, and what we wanted to speand the day doing. Of course we decided to climb up to see the Mark Twain Memorial Lighthouse, which was a very long walk up 244 steps but the view at the end was worth it, as well as seeing the Lighthouse, it was also great exercise. We ate at Logues Resturant both nights because the food and service was so good, and also the prices were very affordable. There are a lot of shops on Main Street, some were closed when we were there, because it was Memorial Day. The Molly Brown birthplace and museum was also closed, but it looked very cute on the outside. We didn't get the chance to go to the Mark Twain Cave or the Cameron Cave, the Marktwain Riverboat, along with Sawyers Creek, all of these are on our list for next time. This town is a great get away. We will be coming back!
