“Christmas Escape”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

My wife and I had the pleasure of being able to get away for a short Christmas escape at the Victorian B&B Reagans Queen Anne. Being able to see this beautiful home all lighted for the holiday was so special. When we arived we were greeted by the Owners with open arms.We had reserved the Captain's Quarters, being an old Navy sailor it was a fitting room for us to stay. The room was large and filled with so many navy items. Sitting looking out the window the snow on the ground and the moon shining down was like steping back in time. We went down to the parlor and sat by the tree, being able to just relax and not have to worry. The next day for breakfast we had a beautiful set table and coffee or tea to drink prior to breakfast. The muffins that Norm made was the best this old Navy man has had. The Italian quiche was so good, nice change of pace then just eggs and toast. Everthing was made and presented to us with pride and care. The Reagans Queen Anne B&B is the place to stay in Hannibal. The location and view of the river makes it so relaxing. Being close to town and able to just walk makes a pleasure to be together.

My Husband and I enjoyed our stay during the holiday weekend at the Reagans Queen Anne B&B. It was like stepping back in time to a beautiful Victorian Christmas in a quiet home. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters on the third floor. We had a wonderful view of the moon shining across the river. The homes along the street were trimmed in lights with candles in the windows. Judy and Norm, the owners, were the most gracious host. Our room was clean, warm, and inviting. The delicious breakfast served by candlelight was a special touch that we both enjoyed. The Italian quiche and Norm's muffins were divine! We can't wait until we can return for another stay in our favorite place in Hannibal.

My teenage daughter and I had the PLEASURE of staying at the Reagans Queen Anne this Dec. 2012. What a truly great experience. I was really impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the two owners Judy and Norm. I think they wanted us to have a fabulous time more than we did. Ha-Ha! Thanks guys for the warm welcome and lovely experience. Even my daughter loved it. We will be back next summer. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a relaxing, friendly, informative, secure and very clean house to stay in. There is so much to look at around the house it could take awhile. Loved the atmosphere, takes you back in time. The location of the place was also a plus being so close to the attractions. And last but not least, the breakfast was absolutely award winning melt in your mouth yummy. The stuffed peach cranberry croissant with vanilla syrup and the Hawaiian egg dish made with smoked ham, pineapple salsa and cheddar cheese was a truly great send off!

Discover your interests while being pampered by the Reagans at their B & B. Learn about walking Riverview Pk, Mark Twain's contributions to all of us, the Brick Oven for pizza. Relax within a charming home, fast internet service, sound sleeping, & gourmet candle lit breakfasts. Judy & Norm assist every guest for a special get away.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front of the house provide views of the historical neighborhood. Great light, too.

We decided to make a trip to Hannibal over the Thanksgiving holiday. When we arrived, Mr. Reagan had made double chocolate muffins for us - as he remembered us and how we LOVED chocolate! We were the only guests in this exquisite home over the weekend and we were able to stay in one of our two favorite rooms in the home. The Riverview and Rose room is simply stunning and the bed is incredibly comfortable - and immaculately clean! While we were there, the temperature dropped outside and Mrs. Reagan asked if we needed the temperature adjusted in our room and pulled out an extra blanket for us! We love coming to Hannibal and will be back again soon! Thank you again for another lovely trip to Hannibal!

My husband and I ventured out to stay in this Victorian B & B while in town for the Hal Holbrook "Mark Twain" event. The Reagan's paid attention to all the details and made sure we were comfortable. The room we stayed in was very large, warm and inviting and the bed was so-o comfortable. Fortunately for us winter still hadn't hit and we were greeted with wonderful sun shine on Sunday morning. Judy made a breakfast to die for. No really! She created some hawaiian named egg dish with a croisant in vanilla sauce etc. Oh my! Don't overlook the Regan's B&B. We will be back and you need to experience this B&B first hand.

My husband and I recently took our French friends to experience Hannibal. The town itself took a back seat to our wonderful experience at Reagan's Queen Anne B & B. The home is magnificent, with some new treasure in every corner. The rooms are comfortable, with inviting amenities such as a love seat perfect for reading. But the best part of the experience is the time with the Reagans. They are gracious, friendly, eager to share their stories of their home--and fabulous in the kitchen. All the guests hurried down each morning to see what new delicacy awaited us--and we were always rewarded with a breakfast delight ("morning muffins": worth the drive). A final testament to the character of the Reagans is that, when our friends unknowingly made an overpayment, the Reagans immediately notified us when they discovered it and returned the overpayment. Their integrity shines in every aspect of their business.
