This B&B gets an excellent review due to the warmth and kindness of Mary, the owner who made me, my parents and children extremely welcome when we stayed due to a wedding nearby. Great old fashioned Irish hospitality.

We stayed for two days to see Galway and Conmera national park. It was a pleasant stay and we can recommend this B&B to anyone.

Pluses:
- Food: tasty and lots to chose from
- location: 5 min to Galway with a car, very peacfull no parties or neighbors
- host: very friendly, goes the extra step whenever she can, knowledge about the area, open for chatting
- rooms: spacious and clean, new beds and complementary tee, cookies, chocolate on a daily basis

negatives:
- You can only fully enjoy the stay if you are mobile. We were offered a drop service to the city when we wanted to take a cab to avoid searching for parking lots though.

One of the best parts of our trip! We got caught out late on the opposite side of the country from where we were staying and we needed somewhere to stay. Luckily, our GPS found Carraig B&B and Mary was more than welcoming, especially for our late arrival. The B&B was in a perfect location as well. Just outside of Galway on a beautiful and quiet little street. Mary was so kind and her B&B was perfect. It was a lot nicer (and cleaner) than the other hotels we had seen and it was definitely a better price. I know a little part I was very grateful for was the wifi, as we're from the states and finding some wifi in other places wasn't easy or cheap. Our room was so spacious and up-to-date, and even had its own restroom. Mary made us feel so at home. She had a great breakfast ready for us in the morning and the view from the B&B was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay here so much that we added Carraig B&B to the "Favorites" and "Accomodations" sections of the GPS we rented with the car. I hope other people will happen upon this B&B and have as great an experience as we did! Thanks again Mary!! -the McCarthys

Nice peaceful B&B not too far from the city. Accommodation was very confortable with tv, kettle (and chocolates!) in the room. A very nice welcome from Mary who is an excellent host and was kind enough to ferry us to the nearby castle for the wedding reception. Would definitely recommend considering a stay here.

This B&B was a great find -a hidden gem, just outside Galway. We (family of 5) stayed in a spacious upstairs recently converted attic room (we didn't know there's an upstairs from the photos) -kids loved the novelty of that. Mary was so kind & accommodating toward us -really made us feel at home. With a fine breakfast & good rates -this is one B&B we will be revisiting when in Galway & heartily recommend it!

Room Tip: The kids thought the experience of the upstairs attic room was really cool & reported it was muc...
