We went to Columbia to visit the University of Missouri for a few days. This Ramada right off the Interstate was a nice hotel and seemed very safe. It is right next to a convenience store if you need gas or a quick snack. The rooms were very nice and were clean and the air conditioner worked amazingly well. I can't really comment on the customer service of the staff because I really only encountered them on checking in and then on checking out. There was nothing to complain about. The hotel is only a few miles from the University of Missouri and it is right down the street from a few restaurants and a Wal-Mart. The parking lot was well lit and safe. The reason I give this a "Very Good" and not an "Excellent" is that the only way to get to the Ramada is via a very busy and sometimes dangerous intersection. Sometimes, we sat at the intersection for over five minutes waiting to turn. Other than that, you can't go wrong.
