We stayed at the hotel five years ago and even then, it was showing major signs of disrepair. Unfortunately, we were in town for another graduation and found this to be the only opening left. The hotel has continued to go downhill. The rooms were very musty , even with the A/c running full blast. It kept making a strange noise all night. The bathrooms were disgusting. Carpeting needs to go as well. The breakfast was acceptable but overall, I just wanted to get out of that place. Not recommended under any circumstances.

This hotel is a good place to stay at. Its is under new management. The new manager and the staff were great. The breakfast was great. The swimming and the hot tub was very clean. The property is old but kept in very good condition. Excelent amenities. Will bring my family to columbia and stay at this location. Had a drink before going to sleep. Hotel has video games and pool table.

Room Tip: Facing the swimming pool and hot tub.

This motel was very disappointing. We were placed in a poolside room and the carpet was wet and you didn't want to walk on it without shoes. Bathtub had a leak (no wonder wet carpet), hair dryer did not work and motel smelled terrible. Sink faucet dripped continuously. Common area appeared to not have been vacuumed in some time. Waste of money. Thought best to skip free breakfast. Would not want to see kitchen.

This is an older facility, which is not necessarily a bad thing. However, like an old movie actress, it appears to be trying to hide the advancing blemishes by lathering on more and more makeup. There needs to be some time and money put into renovation. The bathroom was that nauseating shade between '50s yellow and '60s avocado. That might be forgivable, but the rust on the plumbing access door near the toilet, and the light spotting which appeared to be mold, are not. The mattresses were flimsy, mushy, and just plain uncomfortable; and the pillows had absolutely no "body". The facility is well-hidden in a hollow behind a gas station and the access road is small and virtually unmarked. One really has to hunt for the way into a facility which was not worth the hunt. Go someplace else.

First room had wet carpet; second room smelled very stale. Totally dated 1960's decor and no outside windows if you are so "fortunate" to have an inside room which face the pool. Like being in a fish bowl. Stay elsewhere.

Room Tip: Stay elsewhere

The room was clean, the hotel is a little older. most of the rooms face the pool and common area. I was awakened by the smell of bacon, which isn't bad, but rather not have been awakened by it. Maybe they need a better venting system.

Room Tip: Most rooms face the indoor pool, there are a few on the outside.
