Not sure what they were thinking. It was a 11:00 am Homecoming football game. Logically, after the game, everyone leaves to find somewhere to eat. It was in the 40's outside. So, not everyone was going to continue to tailgate! They got slammed all at once after the game. They weren't prepared. Not even the slightest bit. It took over an HOUR to get soup & salad (no joke). Pretty sure our most "difficult" meal was mac & cheese! Still, our server was very considerate and awesome. She did the best with what she was given. Columbia restaurants have been around a while and so has MU football. Get with the program and book as many servers as possible for 3-4 hours after the start of the game. I guarantee you won't be disappointed, Houlihan's. It will be well worth it! Having people sit in your restaruant for 2+ hours is not helping your cash flow. Also, maybe have a "game day" menu! Just food for thought.

Thank you very much for sharing your visit with us. I have shared your review with our entire Team and we are happy to hear you had a great waitress and that your food was great. It is however, unacceptable for your food to take as long as it did and I personally apologize for that.

You are absolutely correct with your comments about the humongous 3pm rush we received that day. We did indeed have double the servers and cooks that we normally do for a post football game afternoon but we definitely could have used more at that time. I was extremely proud of how our Team responded and the additional Team members that came in early for their dinner service shifts to help.
I sincerely apologize for failing to give you and the other valued Tiger fans the outstanding service that you deserve. I hope that you will give us another chance on your next trip to Columbia, I am confident it will be much better.
