“Exceptional!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

Visited here on business in January 2013 and was very impressed. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to be hospitable. They upgraded me to a very nice whirlpool suite with 2 flat-screen TVs (although I was traveling alone) just because this room was available. Everything was very clean and modern. The free breakfast and dinner/drinks ("kickback") were convenient and the gym was simple but nice. Plenty of parking and located right next to highway 64 and the Chesterfield Mall. It was my first time staying in a Drury hotel and I would definitely consider them in the future.

We stayed here over Christmas 2012 while visiting my 98 year old Aunt at a nearby retirement community. As usual, the rooms were clean, the food was good, and the location is excellent.

The plus came on this trip when my husband came down with the flu! Instead of staying until the 27th of December, we extended our stay, and extended our stay, and......

The staff was very helpful, kept the rate steady for our two room suite, which allowed me to sleep on the fold out couch and stay healthy while nursing him. The cleaning staff was most accommodating, cleaned when we could get out of the room for a bit and sit in the lounge, paid special attention to the shared bathroom, etc.

It was great to have a hearty breakfast available in the morning and hot tea available all day for the invalid. While we don't usually partake of the happy hour, it is possible here to make a good hot toddy without leaving the premises!

We really like the chain because they are family friendly, and our dogs travel with us. This hotel is an excellent example of why we like the chain, and this hotel in particular.

OH, and underground parking garage is great, because I didn't have to scrape the windows.

Room Tip: New construction is going on near the hotel. Ask for a room that does not face Olive and you should...

Rooms are all the same, very furnished and predictable. Staff are invariably pleasant, and try to go out of their way to please. A small matter that could help a lot: the hotel should serve real butter, not margarine. That would help guests' health, palate and digestion, not to mention the satisfaction of enjoying a natural product instead of an artificial one.

I've stayed at Drury hotels before but this is the first time at the Drury Plaza. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot evening kickback and morning breakfast were great. Once I check in, with the kickback and breakfast I don't have to go anywhere to find something to eat, which is great after driving all day. I had booked a king room but was upgraded to a king two room suite. It was great. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The room clean, quiet, and great for getting a good nights rest. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm traveling through the area.

We stayed at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Chesterfield the weekend before Christmas and would highly recommend it. We have stayed here before and liked it, so we chose to return when we were visiting family before Christmas. This visit was special because as we were enjoying our free, hot, plentiful breakfast in the dining room, Santa stopped by and sat next to our 6 year-old daughter. She was very happy to have that one-on-one visit with Santa and he was very attentive to her.

Also, the pool was a highlight for the kids because it's an indoor-outdoor pool and the kids thought it was really cool to swim to the outside side when it was cold out.

The staff are always friendly here and the rooms are nice and clean. As an added bonus, the on-site restaurant, Stoney River Steakhouse, is excellent and does room service.

I'm sure we will continue to come back to this hotel. Hope you enjoy it, too!

I stayed here in October on business and this hotel was great. $89 a night, which includes Breakfast, drinks in the evening and free WIFI.

The hotel is very clean and tidy and all the staff I spoke too were friendly and helpful.

I'll definitely be styling here again on my next trip.

We stay at Drury's when they are convenient to our travels. We stayed at this one for the same reason, and it was easy to find as we passed through St. Louis, which we are not at all familiar with.
The staff is always friendly and helpful and this staff was no exception. They were very busy, but never made us feel rushed or unimportant.
Love the popcorn and soft drinks in the lobby.
My husband rated the coffee "the best" and he's picky about his coffee.
Most motels could use better lighting for putting on make-up but this one had very good, bright light in the sink area and I really appreciate that.
