“GREAT VALUE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2011

Stayed one night on road trip and had a very comfortable quiet room which was inexpensive. They gave us the best rate when we walked up which was impressive and the front desk staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast average but fine. Coffee ran out and took a long time to get refilled. Nice swimming pool.
Good restaurants within walking distance.

We were visiting family in the Cameron area and were quite pleased with this Days Inn. We stayed there two nights. The room was very comfortable with amenities similar to more expensive motels where we've stayed. The breakfast was just fine, including some hot items. The staff was friendly and helpful. I thought it was a good value.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2011

My family stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as we were in town for the church dedication of my youngest child at the nearby church where my inlaws attend. When we arrived late at night, the front desk clerk couldn't have been more helpful, making sure we had milk for the baby, a crib, and a room with 2 queen beds (rather than one king which was the other option). The room was clean and comfortable. It was nice having a free continental breakfast with waffles in the morning although they could have used some fresh fruit. The only letdown of the entire stay was when they handed me a credit card receipt for $32.18 when I checked-out on my way to the dedication. The clerk at the desk said it was for the "extra bed" which I assume he meant the 2 queen room that we requested rather than the one king bed option. Of course I didn't realize there would be an extra charge since nothing was mentioned at check-in and I didn't have the desire to stand there and argue about the extra charges when I was on my way to an important event. If you stay here, just make sure you ask at check-in about any additional charges since they are certainly not upfront about telling the customer in-advance. Needless to say, although I'll return to Cameron many times in the future to visit the inlaws, I won't be returning to this hotel since their business practices are at best questionable and at worst unethical.

Front desk was very helpful. I have stayed at this hotel many times this year on business and each and every time it has been very clean. Quiet and easy to get to. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel and after a very long day with many stumbling blocks we were thrilled to finially end up at the Days Inn in Cameron.
The front desk was extremely helpfull and had answers to all of our questions and needs and gave us a room that completely exceded our expectations!
The bed was comfortable and the pillows were awesome. We even had time to enjoy the pool before we turned in.
Breakfast was exceptional and definitely saved us the cost of going out to eat. It gave us a good start to our day indeed. Not to mention checking out was as pleasant and speedy as checking in.

1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2010

We were traveling from the Gulf Coast, New Orleans, Memephis, and back to Cloquet, Minnesota. We were aware that the situation with bed bugs was a major concern, and religeously checked our hotel room for bugs immediately after check-in and prior to bringing our things in. This was the last night of our 10 day trip, and our fifth hotel. Thank goodness we checked, even though we had had no bugs throughout our trip. There they were, crawling all over the "new" mattress and box spring. YUK- got our charge credited and drove away at light speed. Be careful here.

Although room appeared clean I did not care for this hotel. I felt like the hotel as a whole including the room was below average. The breakfast was not good but some of my colleagues did like the waffles that you could make yourself.
