“Our new "home" at the lake”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

We spent a long weekend at Breezy Point in mid September. We loved the resort for so many reasons. This is what the lake should be like, no overpriced, overcrowded condo's here. Here you have a nice clean well kept cabin with everything you need to be comfortable for your visit. The cabins and grounds are very well maintained. The owners are friendly but not at all intrusive. My husband loved the fishing dock I loved the sun deck. We are already planning our next trip. I would recommend Breezy Point for anyone who wants to get away from the crowds and enjoy some quiet time at the lake.

Stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't have ask for a better place to stay for the cost and location. This cabin (#3) was clean as a pin, not a bug, spider web or speck of dirt anywhere. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed for a good cooking experience. We used the Weber Grill two times and used the oven and all the appliances without a hitch. Loved the deck overlooking the lake and had my coffee there every morning. The WI FI was great not one problem connecting. We had a hard time with phone service but found a spot in the cabin that you could at least get service. I would have given 5 stars but the TV (cable or whatever they have) wasn't very good and we were limited to certain channels. Not that its a big deal but I couldn't even get sports scores and that is important to me. Would I go back-YES in a heartbeat and recommend it to all.

All of us sisters went this time. What a clean, relaxing and friendly time. This place has great clean rooms to stay with kitchens that are kept up and very clean, nice living room areas and a view of the lake. We fished and did well and the docks couldn't be better for those who do not have a boat. The crappie beds are in the enclosed dock which is wonderful for inclemate and cool weather. There are slips for your boat if you need them and of course a ramp for putting in and taking out. Pat and Teresa and their staff are excellent. You have places to purchase bait less than 5 min. away and you are also close to Camdenton if you need to pick up major things. There are bags of ice on the property but bring your own towel and soaps. What a great place to come back to.

Room Tip: Talk to Pat or Teresa and they will help you find a room that fits what you want. They are so helpfu...

If you want to go to The Lake and be able to get up in the morning to water as smooth as glass to ski on and yet have an area where others can fish, this is a wonderful resort. Small resort where the owners will acknowledge you by name each year and you can make friends with the other guests. Atmosphere is casual and relaxing. Cabins are clean and have a nice basic stocked kitchen. You are close to a grocery store and Camdenton and Osage Beach for all the hustle, bustle and nightlife, if you desire. Bring your boat, towels and floaties and you are set for a week of fun. This resort works great for a family get away or an adult only trip. We have been coming here for years. You are literally steps away from the waters edge.

Room Tip: Every Cabin has a view of the lake. Cabins are cozy but the beach area and group deck area are the p...

We were there early in the season so things were very quiet. If you don't want the hubbub of the east side of Lake of the Ozarks, this is a great area to stay. Still, it's close to Camdenton for eats and things to do and there is also a grocery just a couple minutes up the road. Owners are right on the property and available for any help you might need. We stayed in a wonderful three-bedroom cabin with plenty of space and a large front deck. Right on the lake and the view is beautiful. Boat docks, fishing dock, small beach and sunning patio are available. Wi-fi at our cabin was fairly non-existent and we had to drive up the road a little ways for cell reception. This wasn't an issue for us but may be important to others. Will definitely return to this resort when we go back to Lake of the Ozarks!

Breezy Point was the perfect choice for my family and I to take a getaway to! We rarely get a chance for all of us to take a trip together and this was the perfect destination! Pat and Teresa are wonderful owners and the staff were great! The rooms are spotless and everything is immaculate at the resort! We took our boat, it was very easy as they launch it for you and provide a safe place for it over the weekend! Thank you!! What a great trip!

The 10 spotlessly clean cabins sit right above the lake, and the resort offers slips for those who want to bring a boat. Every cabin is provided with the nice touch of a Weber grill. If you're not familiar with the lake, it offers 1,300 miles of shoreline and every kind of water activity imaginable. The biggest selling point for Breezy Point Resort are owners Pat and Teresa Boss, who live there and are a fountain of information of what to do to make your vacation memorable. They must be doing something right because generations of families have been returning for their vacations.
