“Quiet, relaxing place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

We stayed 5 nights in cabin 5. It was a nice little cabin and perfect for our family of 4, but needs updating and general maintenance/upkeep. Needs a good deep cleaning, there were cobwebs everywhere inside. The first night we got there, the sofa bed/couch in the living room was completely worn out, if you dared to sit on it, it was like sitting on bare metal/rods. Chieko told us, without us even having to ask, that she was going to replace it the next day. It did get replaced 2 days later. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, towels. Great system in place for exchanging towels, getting supplies such as trash bags, toilet paper. Chieko was very accommodating, always easy to get a hold of, and pleasant to deal with. We took the pontoon boat out for 4 hrs and that was wonderful! The pool's solar heating had been recently damaged in a storm, so it was freezing. But it was still nice for kids with a nice slide. The grounds are nice. There's a volleyball net, tetherball, swings, and toys for little kids also. Just lots of broken/old toys lying around. One thing we did not appreciate was the person that mowed the lawns decided to mow at 6:30 in the evening on a Saturday. We were outside with our little kids, and many other families were outside also. I felt this was very inconsiderate considering the riding mower could easily hit a rock or something and it injure someone. Why pick the busiest time for people to be outside to mow? We had to change our plans based on this. The lake was very close to the resort, just a short walk, but some cabins were on the lake with a great view. The atmosphere overall was very relaxing and peaceful. Not luxury by any means, but fine for "lake living." We enjoyed our stay overall, just think it needs some better maintenance, updating, and upkeep.

We stayed 3 nights and we should have stayed one more. . It was very clean and well maintained. We stayed in cabin 20, which was quite small, however it was just about perfect for the two of us. The bed is extremely comfortable, and we had everything that we needed. The prices can't be beat for having so much privacy with a beautiful view of the lake. Chieko made us feel at home and was most pleasant. We couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Chieko and Green Valley Resort.

Stayed 6 nights ending 11-4-12. Cabins are clean, well maintained. New beds, very comfortable. Cabins nicely decorated, Good selection of kitchen dishes/utensels, towels, blankets, pillows. Location good for relaxing. 17 miles from Branson, roads windy! 8 miles from West Branson with Walmart. Gas less than in Branson! Table Rock Lake is huge with lots of inlets! Rented Pontoon from Green Valley Resort and spent 4 hours on lake without seeing most. Beautiful day! Highly recommend if goal is not to spend lots of time in Branson but for relaxation, peace & quite!

Room Tip: We stayed in 21. Farthest from lake. Is steep walk down to lake. Have pool & play area but not o...

Last week, my husband and I stayed four nights in Cabin #9 at Green Valley Resort. We were very pleased as the cabin (2 king bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, full bath, deck) was spotlessly clean. The owner/manager, Chieko, was most pleasant and wanted to make us feel welcome. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone who doesn't want to stay in a typical hotel/motel room. We were about the only guests at the resort and very much enjoyed the tranquility and surroundings. We were able to get a "package" reservation which included a 4-hour pontoon boat and two day tickets to Silver Dollar City.

Room Tip: The web site map is a very good guide - if you want lake view, etc.

If you are expecting luxury, this is not the place for you. However, if you are on the lake boating and want a clean place to stay, this is the best bet for your money. We go to Table Rock at least once a year and have tried out many other resorts. Green Valley is the place where we keep coming back. It is clean, cool, comfortable and convenient. Last time we rented the 2 bedroom, 2 bath "cabin" and comfortably slept 6 adults.

Room Tip: We like the "cottages" as they are away from the crowd.

Statayed here overnight with the family in what is called a "cabin". This term should be used very lightly as the "cabin" is a two three room concrete block house. That said it has a good air condintioner with a full, yet tiny, modern kitchen. The TV is a small flat screen however it only received one channel....CMT. In the end we will likely return as a camping destination.
