For 3 years in a row of staying at Lakeside Resort, this trip was just a few days for my son and I to getaway from work to just relax. And, we did just that! We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck of our cabin talking, playing cards, watching all the wildlife around and enjoying the view of the lake. Even spent a little time on the computer to get a little " fun work" done. Lakeside Resort, Restaurant & General Store has so much to offer. Clean, comfortable cabins to fit any family's needs, fishing and boating stuff, groceries, gifts, boat rental, boat/swim dock and the food and ice cream is absolutely great. We ordered a couple of pizzas and they were great. Couldn't pass up dessert either, had a couple of Carson's concretes. But, most of all, the folks that own and operate this place are incredible people. In my 31 years of vacationing at Table Rock, they are the nicest folks I've ever met in that area. They treat you like family, going above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Come and go as you please, sit and visit, and enjoy all they have to offer at the Resort! It's a great getaway place. We're looking forward to staying there again next year, maybe a couple of trips and hopefully longer with our entire family!

My family and I arrived at Lakeside Resort on Sunday, September 14, 2014. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest cabin which was a two story rental unit. The cabin was more than adequate space-wise and offered a great view of the boat dock as well as Table Rock Lake. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was also nice.

The owners of Lakeside Resort (Rick and Stephanie Kettells), are without a doubt some of the friendliest and most down to earth people you will ever meet. They took great care and effort to ensure that we enjoyed our stay and it showed. Their three kids (Zach, Cassady & Carson), also help out around the general store and resort and are very well mannered and helpful to their customers. The general store is cozy and well run, and the food served up by the Kettells family is very good. We ordered two of their pizzas, the Pepperoni Passion and the Macho Man and they were nothing short of delicious. We also tried the cheese sticks and fried pickle spears as appetizers and they were also very tasty.

Fishing is historically tough on Table Rock because of the deep water depth and clarity, so if catching a load of Kentucky bass or catfish is what you're after, my opinion is that you should talk to Rick who knows several professional guides on the lake who can put you on the fish. Table Rock is an incredibly beautiful body of water and the views are spectacular all over the lake. But doing it yourself fishing-wise is not an easy thing to do, so a guide would definitely increase your chances of putting some fillets in the frying pan.

Lakeside Resort is located in a secluded and quiet area where you can enjoy your privacy but at the same time have quick access to the hustle and bustle of Branson. The drive into Branson from Lakeside is about 20-30 minutes, so the dozens of shows, good restaurants and other tourist attractions aren't very far away at all.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Lakeside Resort on Table Rock Lake. The place is clean and well run, and again, the Kettells' are superbly friendly and service-oriented. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is seeking a nice and quiet getaway for either themselves or their family. We will definitely be back!!

Looking for a place with character, amenities, and options? This is it! Rick, Stephanie, Zach, Cassidy, and Carson make this a family stay, not just a family business. Quiet time in a cozy cabin, getting your first fishing lesson or expert lure and location recommendations from Rick, home cooking or "you can only get it here" rootbeer from Stephanie and Cassidy, location, weather, and directions from Zach, or a swimming buddy and frog and turtle catching safari guide with Carson, you're only scratching the surface. It's on your schedule, at your beck and call, and always with down home, "pull up a chair, we're glad you're here!" hospitality. Plenty to do at the resort, but only a short drive from Branson's shows and Silver Dollar City if you get a hankering for more urbanite callings. Our three days were a great experience. We'll be coming back for more!

This place has it all- swimming pool, swim dock, boat rentals, food and clean cottages. The general store has everything you need so that once you get here you can enjoy the most beautiful lake around! The owners are incredibly nice and this is a legit "family owned" establishment with 3 kids being a very active part of your experience and stay.

A wonderful place to stop and eat when you're on the lake. Very friendly
Family run restaurant. We live in schooner bay and love to go here to eat. It is just past point 7 on the left. We haven't stayed in the rooms since we live near by. Rylan

One of the few resorts on the water that has it all. The facilities are great and well maintained and the restaurant has some of the best food on the water. The owners are very accommodating and very eager to please. I would recommend Lakeside to anyone looking for a an on the water location that is close to everything.
