“Quick access to fishing. Very responsive staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

We stayed July 2013. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is right on the road that goes to Taneycomo, so it is very convenient if you plan on fishing. I left a flash drive in the business computer in the lobby. When I phoned to ask if they had found it, the staff person immediately knew what I was talking about. She mailed it and I got it 2 days later. Very nice service!

We stayed here over the 4th of July, 2013. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. The location was great! The only complaint would have been the breakfast. That was not so good and then we were told they would have biscuits and gravy on the week-end and when the week-end rolled around...well, we were told there was none, so that was a bummer, the breakfast sucked, but other than that, it was great! I would stay there again. Very clean and friendly!

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I'm sorry to hear that our breakfast was not to the level of satisfaction that we would have hoped to give. Marriott has changed the breakfast standards this year, as a result we no longer have the breakfast sandwiches that we use to. In their place we now have scrambled eggs and sausage patties. Per the new standards though we can only have items such as eggs, sausage, or gravy in induction warmers now. We have had a lot of positive comments on our sausage patties, otherwise we would have had the biscuits and gravy provided. I will address this with our General Manager to see what options we may be able to provide moving forward. Thanks again for spending the holiday weekend with us!

The Fairfield Inn by Marriott is conveniently located at a major corner intersection, right behind Walgreens. Access in and out is easy, and parking was easy. Rooms were very clean and breakfast is provided! When you're traveling with two teenage boys - THAT'S a plus! The attendants at breakfast were working as fast as they could to ensure nothing ran out and the coffee was plentiful. There is also a pantry to purchase drinks and snacks. The boys used the hot tub which they said was wonderful.
I thought that as a rewards member I should have had water waiting in my room, or at least granted upon check-in, but the hotel staff at the front desk stated they're newly converted to a Marriott, and didn't quite know all the "rules".
Overall: nice, clean, convenient, we'd stay there again.

Thank you for your review. We have some hard working breakfast hostesses that do a wonderful job providing guest with exceptional customer service. I'm sorry to hear that we did not have an arrival water provided to you as a rewards member. Going forward we will take extra measures to assure that all of our reward members receive recognition during arrival. Happy to hear that you had a good stay with us over the holiday weekend, and we look forward to serving you again in the future. Thanks again!

They are almost finished remodeling, and we believe they have done an excellent job. We had a nice four-day weekend in June. The beds were so comfortable, and the breakfast was fabulous. Our room was spotless. The only negative we have (and it's not bad) was the elevator was a little on the slow side, but we used the stairs. We would definitely stay here again!

Just south of the strip at the Titanic museum. Can walk to some shops and restaurants. 24 hr Walgreens right next door. Very clean property. Friendly staff. Large rooms, comfortable beds, clean rooms. Many hot and cold selections for breakfast. Only downside...you may want top floor. Floors pretty thin and foot traffic comes right through.

First of all, this hotel was in the perfect location. Walking distance to pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel was under construction (June 2013) but it didn't impact our stay in any way. No noise, no excess dirt or anything. Our room was very clean and all staff was very nice. I will be staying here again.
