We found the deal online, just looking to get away for a night, do some shopping and let the kids have some fun swimming. The hotel itself was nice and our room was immaculate. Hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The pool/slide area doesn't sound like much when compared to some other Branson spots, but for the deal we got we didn't care! The kids (9,11,14) and ourselves thoroughly enjoyed it. I am sure it's even better during the summer with the outdoor part. I have absolutely nothing negative to say! (which doesn't happen often!)

If you are considering staying at one of the indoor water parks in Branson, Don't dismiss this place because it doesn't have a "lazy river". My sister and I took our sons, ages 10 and 7, here this past weekend for a quick getaway, We had the best time. It was just the right measure of fun and relaxation all in one. We soaked in one of the huge hot tubs while the boys played on the slide and things and then we joined them for the fun. The air and water temp couldn't have been more perfect. They have a game room with air hockey, pool, and foosball that didn't cost anything. The fitness center had tons of machines + that were clean and all working. I just can't say enough about the waterpark and clubhouse. Both were just wonderful. We just booked a regular room with 2 queen beds, so there's not much to boast about there. But the room was clean and the beds were oh so comfy. The staff were ALL very very nice and helpful. We will definitely be going back. They also have lodge/condo type accomadations too that would be worth checking into.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night package at the Welk Resort. We had three rooms to accommodate our family. Our group ranged in age from 9 - 75. We went to shows and took part in a variety of activities that all of us found delightful. We didn't always go to the same places, but none of us were disappointed in our choices. My sisters, brothers-in-law, and I plan to do this in the future, not only at Christmas, but summer vacations, as well.

This year, we decided we would take a trip for Christmas instead of exchanging gifts. I knew the temperatures would be cold, so I began the search for a hotel with an indoor pool. I was so excited to find the Welk Resort had not only and indoor pool, but a heated indoor water playground with a HUGE water slide! We played in the Splash-A-Torium everyday and the highlight of our stay was sitting in the outdoor hot tub while it snowed. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. We ate breakfast in the restaurant every morning and I thought it was delicious. A full buffet complete with waffle maker and cooked to order eggs.
