I've traveled all over the world, and it's rare to find attention to quality, cleanliness and value like you find at the Angel Inn.
We visited on November 30, 2012 for two nights. The staff was great, the beds were comfortable, and they don't use the "our rooms smell clean" chemicals...the rooms actually ARE clean.
The shower curtain was even artfully tucked into the tub grab bar, creating almost a canopy effect in the bathroom...a thoughtful touch!
Would love to have have seen a mini shampoo in the bathroom, but at the price I paid I could afford to call a cab, buy some shampoo, and cab back for what I'd pay for an inferior hotel...so can't really complain.
Oh, and this hotel is about two blocks off the Strip, actually below Strip level, so it's very quiet and peaceful.
It's just nice in this day and age, to encounter an operation that truly cares about their customers, the overall customer impression and experience. I can't recommend the Angel Inn highly enough. It's the perfect mix of what Branson is known for...happy, pleasant people giving wonderful value.
