We stay three night at Falls Village Resort and had read the previous reviewers, particularly those who had a negative experience and I must say that our time there was completely opposite of theirs. We stayed in a one-bedroom and have three boys 4 and under. There was plenty of room for them to spreadout and play. The door opens into a large main room with a large kitchen, dining table and then a sitting area in front of a large screen tv complete with a vcr and dvd player. The bathroom was large with double vanities, a large bedroom with a king bed and a heart shaped jacuzzi tub in the bedroom which our boys thoroughly enjoyed. Also, something I hadn't realized until our arrival was that in the common area between our room and the next room was a full size washer and dryer. It was great to be able to throw a load of clothes in during our stay. Additionally, the amenities at the clubhouse were very nice, a basketball court, a playground area, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, pingpong, and a pool table. The negative point, which wasn't that big of a deal, had to do with the thermostat in our room. It is an electronic thermostat and I couldn't seem to get it the temperature that I wanted. It was generally too cold in our room. But we lived with it in that it was over 100 outside! Now, I must be quick to confess that I never called the front desk to ask for assistance. I'm sure they would have assisted me. I guess it's a "guy thing." Overall, I would encourage anyone to stay at Falls Village Resort. I know that when we go back to Branson that is where we will stay, without a doubt!

We stayed at the Falls village for our one-year anniversary and were VERY impressed with the 1-bedroom unit. We especially LOVED the jacouzzi and the lovely full kitchen included. The unit was nicely decorated and VERY clean.
The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful and friendly. We were impressed with how quickly the maintenance team took care of a minor problem we had. They made us feel very welcome and important. While we did not have a chance to take advantage of the pool or other grounds activities, we did check them out and on our next trip, we DO plan to use them. We cannot WAIT to go back.

“Wonderful Vacation”

Our family of four just finished a vacation at Falls Village. This is a beautiful and well kept facility. There was plenty to do. The staff were very helpful and friendly (something that is getting extremely hard to find). Our condo (1 bedroom, jacuzzi, sleeper sofa) was spacious, clean, and modern. We WILL be going back.

“Spacious - or Not”

Falls Village Resort

We have stayed at the Falls Village twice - a 1-bdrm unit in September'02, and a studio unit in June'04.

There are two (maybe more now) different floor plans... One has a screened deck with ceiling fan, I believe. We had the other one, with the corner-jacuzzi in the bedroom - NICE! When we stayed in this 1-bdrm unit, we were most impressed with how spacious it was. After a day of running around Branson, my husband and I enjoyed spreading out in different rooms. Sorry the photos aren't better, didn't think I'd be sharing them online, but they might help give you a better idea of the place. You will see that the balcony view isn't spectacular, but it was still nice to eat outside. September is a beautiful time of year to visit Branson.

In June of 2004, we opted for the little studio unit. My husband and I shared the king-size bed with our 2-yo daughter, and we folded out the sleeper-sofa for our 12-yo son. It was pretty "cozy"!!! We appreciated the kitchenette and round table for dining. There were two chairs, I believe, but one person sat on the bed's edge and one person sat on the ice chest. It was kind of like camping out! Everything was clean and in good working order. It was also very nice to have the washer and dryer, in the foyer. The studio unit does not have a balcony. Although we managed, I really would not recommend it for a family of four... it would function much better as "the adjoining grandparents' room" of a 2-bdrm unit!

A 2-bdrm unit would be the 1-bdrm (described first) combined with the studio unit. A double-locked door separates them, otherwise. They share a little foyer with full-size washer and dryer, and a door to the outside.

We will undoubtedly return to the Falls Village, because we love Branson. In Branson, we stay busy all day - shopping, shows, Silver Dollar City, Celebration City, museums, etc. We aren't looking for a resort to loll around; we just want to spread out (or crash) in the evenings, enjoy some meals, maybe swim. We found the outdoor pool to be nice, large, and clean.

One thing to take note of, when reserving a unit, is to ask if the unit is at "parking lot level." Both of ours were on the second floor, but this was parking lot level - we walked straight across a ramp from the parking lot. You had to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the first floor, or up one flight of stairs to get to the third floor. There was not an elevator.

“Disappointing to say the least!”

Falls Village Resort

My family bought a vacation package through Branson Getaways for a 2-bedroom condo at Falls Village. After looking at the web site for the Falls Village, we were all every excited and felt we made a good decision in choosing the Falls Village. We were even more impressed upon driving into the resort and seeing the condos and the big fancy building where you check in, thinking "Wow", this place is wonderful.

Wrong!!! We were stuck at the very back of the resort, obviouisly in one of the much, much, older buildings. Not only that we were put three floors up which meant climbing or crawling up several flights of stairs to get in the door. Once inside, the surroundings were not too bad, but definitely not worth climbing all those stairs!! The ammenities of the resort were definitely not as they appeared on the web site. The grounds and the condos at the back of the resort were not in good condition. Cobwebs all over the place, very poor lighting, the table and chairs on the deck were disgustingly dirty. The pools located in different spots around the resort were hard to find and then when we did find one, it was like walking through your neighbors yard to get to it. The indoor pool was definitely not clean (very cloudy as if needing chemicals) and definitely not convenient to get to without driving your vehicle to get to it. Not something you could walk to especially from where our condo was located. Nothing was as it appeared on the web site or by what were told about the resort from the trip planners. The way they present the resort and the condos on the web site and also by what you see upon entering the resort (newer fancy buildings in good condition) is most definitely false advertising!!!

Falls Village was absolutely not worth the money. I would NEVER stay there again and would NOT reccommend anyone else to stay there either.
