“Several problems”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

Found hair in the bath tub, coffee maker broke and stained my clothes. After four attempts of getting a hold of a manager not much was done. Gave us a free nights stay that expired in two months. Nice location, but horrible customer service and management. Would have been ok if they tried to make it right. Will never go back. Bed was also not comfy.

We love this place! It's nestled into the hills around Tablerock lake, is very reasonably priced, kid friendly, with tons of amenities for resort customers to use for free. The rooms are spacious, with a full kitchen, washer & dryer. We also were impressed with our gorgeous sunset view. It's especially accommodating to large families or groups, and you can get multiple units connected as well. Multiple televisions, more like apartment living, with televisions in each room. Updated decor. We have been 2 summers in a row, and it's the kids' favorite place we've been. They love the different pools and waterslide. Book it, you won't be disappointed...

I would expand that to say, one of our favorite resorts anywhere.
Our family of 6 loves this place.
There is something for everyone and most of it is included in your reservation.
On top of that, you can rent boats and wave runners at a competitive price for on the lake. Yet, walk out your back door and there you are.
Everything is very nice. The staff are great. Always helpful.
Super close to Silver Dollar City also.

Room Tip: They have anything you can imagine. We rented the Lake House once when my folks joined us. Very pr...

Three couples stayed the weekend of Dec. 14. The resort was close to Silver Dollar City and beautiful! The condo was very spacious and clean. The staff at the office was extremely helpful. While we were checking in some repeat guests came into the office and the staff remembered them and called them by name. We will definitely stay here again.

We came to Still Waters with a special we purchased from Groupon. The intereaction leading up to our arrival was pleasant. Once we arrived (Tuesday), things went downhill. We were told there would be free wi-fi in our unit, but when we tried to connect our devices (5 total) the wi-fi didn't work. I then went out of the unit and my phone connected immediately. I notified the front desk and they insisted that it was a problem with my devices since 10 other people were connected in our condo.

I tried again in the morning and had the same result. This time I went to the front desk and showed them that my phone was connected there but none of our devices were connecting in the unit. They said they would have the IT person look into it. On Thursday morning we still were not able to connect and the front desk said the IT person checked it on Wednesday and everything was working. When we checked out on Saturday, I again expressed my frustration with the wifi issue and the lady at the desk said that the IT person was still waiting on a 'part' to come in.

Wifi is not the only reason that we stayed here, but when it is advertised as free wifi available and then we are not able to use it except outside of our unit, that is poor customer service.

Also, the toilet in the unit was wobbly so much that it was like sitting in a rocking chair and several lights were not working in the unit.

We will not be staying here again.

Stayed at Still Waters Friday night and Saturday. It was a very nice condo with a view of Table Rock Lake. Very spacious three bed, three bath condo. It had a really nice pool area with a huge hot tub. There were also bald eagles on the lake. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed two nights during the week here so the place was not very busy. We had a 1 bedroom lakeview luxury condo. The condo was nice and it was fairly clean although we did pick up a few things off of the floor (we looked it over well because our 19 month old would find it if we didnt) we also had to call the front desk about our bathtub having hair in it and they were very apologetic and sent housekeeping right up who cleaned the entire bathroom very well. The main thing I would suggest is if you plan to use the condo like a home instead of a hotel room by cooking and actually living in it for a few days then you should be sure to bring all the basics like paper towels, condiments, tissues, laundry soap, and so on. Unlike almost any other condo we have ever stayed in this one provides only a small amount of dishwasher soap and liquid dish soap. There were no tissues anywhere, only toilet paper. The kitchen was stocked but there were standard things missing and most of the silverware and dishes seemed dated and well used and abused but they did work. The staff at the office was friendly and helpful and even showed us how to get half price tickets to SDC by buying them online instead of through them. We could hear the neighbors upstairs very well and they kept us up late one night and the walls we very thin but luckily we did not have anyone in the room right next to us while we were there. It also seemed the room needed some basic maintenance like the bedroom and bathroom both had french doors and neither set would work properly, if you could get them shut it took a hard bump to get them open again. there were a couple of outlets that did not work and a few ceiling lights that flickered pretty bad. We got a pretty fair price since we stayed during the offseason and during the work week but based on their published prices for summertime and weekends I would say they are overpriced for what you get but it does seem like it would be a great place with older kids during the summertime since they seem to have lots of pools and stuff and it is right on the lake but if you plan to swim be sure to pack your own towels.
