husband and i ate here on a wednesay nite (10/3/12) and our bill was 39.97. there was no wait for a seat, even tho the restaurant was busy. we had a coupon for a free half order of onion rings if you bought an entree. we were pretty hungry and thought that would not be enough appetizer, so our delightful waiter Ritchie encouraged us to try the stuffed mushrooms. i ordered a rib-eye medium rare, and hub got the half-pound burger with fries. the half-order of onion rings (2.67) was the size of a regular order of rings anywhere else--and they were VERY good. the stuffed mushrooms were the size of tennis balls i kid you not. the people sitting next to us stared and asked us what is that? i'm sure they thought what a bunch of pigs, haha! the mushrooms were breaded, deep fried, stuffed with 2 different cheeses, and served with a dipping sauce. my steak came with a salad (not great, but the ranch dressing was fabulous) and a baked potato loaded, which was one of the best baked potatoes i've ever had anywhere. i shared with husband, and he scarfed that potato up! the steak did not have a lot of salt and pepper coating it, but was cooked to perfection and let the flavor of the meat really come thru. hub's hamburger was good, it was thin and he likes a thicker burger, but his fries were not hot when they brought them out, so they weren't too good. he said next time he would probably get something else. Ritchie was wonderful, and very personable with all the diners, and even sat down next to husband and talked some politics ( it was the night of the first debate). it was a very good conversation. now, management--WE started it, it wasn't like he just sat down and told us who he was gonna vote for!! he is a wonderful employee for you all, and when we left he wished us a "blessed" night.
