“Amazing Family get away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

What a great week we had! I am from out of state but dropped a child off at camp in MO, so my other two kids went with me (ages 16 and 10) and we spent the week in Branson at Suites at Fall Creek. It was so clean. I read reviews about noise. Had no problem with it except when neighbors go in and out their doors, the blinds clang loudly. Easy fix for management to just anchor them at the bottom of the door. I felt worse for MY neighbors as we were in and out all day long all week. We did a junior studio suite. The pull out couch was AMAZING! I think even better than the bed. Some new style of pull out I've never seen. No bar. Three cushions. Closer to futon, but more comfortable than futon. I tried to find name on it but the label said "made exclusively for suites at fall creek". Kudos to Suites at Fall Creek. One day it rained so the kids and I went to the activity center and made a 500 piece puzzle, played board games, and a little wii, and hit the indoor pool. Everyday we borrowed two videos to take back to our room and watch. They have hundreds of titles (and not all Branson censored...did see The Hangover one day). They have a great mini golf 18 hole golf course right by activity center and outdoor pool.. LOVED the outdoor pool. Went almost every day. Temp of water was perfect. Heated, but not like bathwater, which I hate. Nicest staff ever. Front desk and activity center great. One day we wanted to get a movie that was out. Kept checking in to see if it was returned and the staff said, "don't worry, we're gonna call your room and leave a message for you when it's returned, we'll keep it aside for you". How nice!! And they did. We were on the 4th floor of our building. Very quiet. There WAS an elevator for this building. Not sure if the three floor buildings have elevators or not. When we needed more soap, or towels or anything, we just called hospitality and they dropped it off at our room. We are DEFINITELY going back to the same place next year when my daughter goes back to camp.

Room Tip: We had top floor of 4 story building. Very quiet (except when neighbor closed or opened their door...

Our studio room was very small. We actually had to buy a TV tray to have somewhere to even put the coffee pot. We could hear the neighbors in their kitchen banging cupboards and microwave beeping. Because the studios all connect with the adjoining room, there was little soundproofing. Not all the studios are the same. The ones with porches are very small, the ones with a sleeper sofa are a bit bigger. I would not recommend this resort. My bedroom at home was better than this!

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else!

Thank you for taking the time to review our resort. We apologize for the noise from the neighboring room. You are correct that our studio rooms adjoin to another room. We do have two bedroom units that do not have an adjoining door to another room and may be more enjoyable if you would be willing to give us another chance.

I would never suggest this hotel! We were put on hold for 30 min just to arrive to the hotel and check in and pay while still on hold at the front desk. They were just sitting on their phones talking to each other. After that the service just kept getting worse. We approached a manager and nothing was done, We even emailed corporate and never received a reply! The rooms are ok nothing special definitely needs some work!

Room Tip: This hotel charges a $5 per person per day convenience fee. Not worth it!

Thank you for reviewing your stay at our resort. While the opportunity to be your host during your stay here was truly appreciated, we are disappointed to read that we missed the mark on meeting your expectations and that you will not be returning here. We assure you our teams want to be attentive and sensitive to your needs. They also seek to be innovative in meeting our guest expectations and we promise to serve you better. It was extremely concerning to note your dissatisfaction in our team’s service. This will be addressed with our staff internally and immediately. We would like to have an opportunity to investigate these service shortfalls further and we hope you can assist us in this process. We don’t appear to have received the email you sent, and are extremely sorry that you’ve been given the impression that we had neglected to respond. If you do decide to resend it to either the resort or our customer services team, we will of course be more than happy to fully investigate your concerns and respond to you. Thank you again for alerting us and we hope to hear back from you soon.

We stayed in both this trip and there is no comparison. The one bedroom is lovely with a large rooms, king bed, laundry machines, therapy pool and screened veranda. There is only one outdoor pool for a very, large complex and on a hot day it can get crowded. It is 10 minutes away from a,large grocery store which is handy with a full kitchen.

Room Tip: Get the units near the marina if you,are getting one or two bedroom. They are unfortunately farthest...

Timing was bad as Branson was covered in snow in early December. Snow impacted minor delays in check-out thus check-in but all went well. Stuck in suite for 1.5 days but made the best. Service was good and property was nicely appointed. I'm sure spring or fall would have been better but we had a great time and met up with our friends the next day. Got a great weekly deal booking through Armed Forced Vacation Club.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Suites at Fall Creek. However, we did have some ongoing complaints. We stayed in 401A & B for 1 week. There was a family of 11 (yes 11) staying directly above us who frequently disturbed our rest (as we were travelling with a toddler). They seemed irritated that we complained directly to them (rather than going through the management). There were 2 large jetted tubs in our condo, however, the hot water heater was soooo small that we literally had to bathe in 2 different shifts. This was totally unacceptable and probably the biggest complaint. The pools were clean and towel available. The living room furniture was old, outdated and extremely uncomfortable to relax on. There was also an abundance of flies (so much so, that we had to go buy a fly swatter on day 2), that being said, this is apparently a location problem, not a unit or condo complex issue. We did enjoy many of the sites in Branson, however, we passed on going to any kind of "informational seminar" regarding time shares as current owners (not this location) we know not to get sucked into this for $125 visa gift card. Must go on the Duck tour and visit fantastic Caverns in Springfield when visiting Branson. We will not likely return to Branson, but if we did, we would likely stay elsewhere d/t the quality of people staying at this location (yes, I'm a bit of a snob).

The rooms felt more like a nice apartment then a hotel. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. The grounds were very clean, the pool was nice, and most of the staff were nice. Some were snotty but all in all it was a great stay.
