“Welcome mat is always out!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2011

We stayed here for several years during our annual shopping trip to Branson. Super, friendly folks and the breakfast offered enough to satisfy anyone. Quality rooms at a good price. Off the "strip" of Hwy 76 and close to some really great restaurants. Will check this out next time we are going to be in town.....

We loved our stay at Brookwood. The personnel were "the best", our room was clean, current, and comfortable. The pillows and comforters were THE BEST. There was a nice variety of choices for breakfast and we topped off our night with hot blueberry or peach cobbler and ice cream. We would highly recommend it for couples or a group. The gathering room would provide a great place for a group to meet over an awesome treat!

If you are looking for an inexpensive, simple, clean, updated place with a free breakfast, I recommend the Brookwood Inn, The beds were comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. There is a large well lighted breakfast/gathering room with a balcony and outside deck (minimum furniture on the deck). The free breakfast was very good and offered a good variety. There were cookies and 2 kinds of cobblers along with soft serve ice cream for the "after show" dessert time. Being a 2 star, there was no exercise room but there is a nice walkway around the 2nd and 3rd levels and I got in a morning walk making laps around the level. The staff was among the best we have encountered anywhere. They were very helpful and friendly. On the down side no fridge or microwave but the ice machine was conveniently located and with the free breakfast and dessert time a microwave wasn't really necessary.

Room Tip: This is a 3 level hotel with no elevator. Since it sits on a hillside the 1st and 2nd levels are bo...

We chose this place because of good reviews on Trip Advisor. The cobblers with soft serve ice cream and cookies each night and the fresh 20 item breakfast buffet each morning are a definite draw. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas is a real plus also. The staff was very friendly and helpful in numerous ways during our three night stay.

The only negatives were no fridge or microwave in the room. However lots of ice machines were there to easily fill our cooler each day and a microwave was available in the breakfast room.

For just a little more money we could have stayed across the road at the much fancier Stone Castle Hotel with more ammenities but this place suited our needs nicely since we were gone most of the time and probably would not have used the ammenities.

Room Tip: The west side of building faces Pirates Cove Miniature Golf while east side faces motel pool. Upp...

Based on TripAdvisor reviews we booked a room at the Brookwood Inn for our recent visit to Branson. We truly enjoyed our stay! Our room was a King on the 3rd floor. There are no elevators on the property, but as is common in Branson there are multiple levels to the parking lot so we only had 1 flight of stairs. The room was exceptionally clean, updated, and provided everything needed for a short stay. The breakfast was similar to other motels offerings, but the late-night snack was out of this world! The cobbler and ice cream was exactly what you need after a late show. Delicious! The staff was friendly & very outgoing, offering any assistance they could to make our stay enjoyable. To conclude, we have found our new, favorite motel for our Branson getaways!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the East side, as there is a miniature golf course on the West side.

We've stayed here before when it was the Alpen Rose, it was needing updating and we almost didn't call. I read that it not only had a new name but had been updated. I was pleasantly surprised when we checked in, the room was indeed updated, it was fresh and clean with new furniture and the bed was wonderful. The breakfast was great, it had hot and cold cereal, Krispy Kreme donuts, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, two kinds of belgium waffles, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juices. In the evening they had cherry and peach cobbler, ice cream and cookies, they put it out at 9pm (wish it was a little earlier but worth the wait). The staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a computer you can use in the lobby but also have free wifi in the rooms. We will definitely stay here again, you can't beat the amenities and location.

Room Tip: We like the rooms facing the miniature golf course, fun to watch.
