Checking was smooth the guy at the front desk was very friendly. We stayed 2 nights the room was nice but the carpet was dirty and need to be shampoo. the beds was very soft I was shocked that the TV was so old and small. And under the bed there were trash.

Check-in was smooth and front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. The rooms were nice, but for a unit that can sleep 8 there was very little seating - a 3 person sofa and a kitchen table that only seats 4. We only had 6 people so not too bad for us. I would suggest adding a loveseat or at least some type of chair or recliner. Also need towel bars in the sink area of bathroom and also an extra towel bar in the shower area.

Over all our stay was good and the condo fit our needs. The above are just comments to make the stay a little more enjoyable.

I stayed in unit # 410 for 5 days; 11/15 - 11/20/2013. (I write this as I am about to leave). 15 seconds inside the room, I saw there were issues. A housekeeper left a bottle of cleaning fluid on the kitchen counter top, and a dirty cleaning rag on the bathtub curtain rod. A used, diirty bath towel from the previous guest was hanging behind the bathroom door. The unit is suppose to have 4 sets of towels; this unit had 2. I opened the bathroom vanity door and saw about 12 dead bugs laying there. I called the front desk for more clean towels and for someone to clean up the dead bugs. There were problems with the shower: there was barely any water pressure coming out of the showerhead and most of the water was spraying out of the bath tub faucet. I don't know how a housekeeper could properly clean the bathtub with no water pressure coming out of the showerhead. The lights below the microwave did not work. The kitchen floor was dirty and sticky. The bedspread on the bed stunk and it probably hasn't been washed in about 6 months. The dresser was so beat up it looks like something bought at a rummage sale. The living room furniture is a miss-matched mess: it is worn out and looks dirty. There are very little decorations in the room. There is no radio to listen to. The resort claims to have a state-of-the-art fitness center but, according to the employee at the front desk - actually is a bunch of old fitness machines that they bought ... They don't even have a treadmill. So upon my arrival, I spent about the first hour getting things fixed. These are the things that house keeping should have cleaned or should have had fixed by maintenance. Obviously, housekeeping here lacks and there are no inspections by a supervisor. It also seems the employees don't wear a uniform shirt unless the owner is at the resort. The employees that brought me clean towels and fixed the shower looked like regular people off the street. Once things were fixed, it was not too bad of a place to stay at. It is a good location located near the Mansion Theater. If Iwas a timeshare owner, which I'm not, and I had traded my weekly timeshare for this place, I would have been very disappointed. The Foxborough Resort would be a better place if it was just properly cleaned, iinspected, and maintained.

Made last minute decision to go to Branson for shopping for the weekend. Started searching for motels and found that most were full due to Veterans Day weekend but found Foxborough to have mostly positive reviews and decided to book.

On our arrival, the front desk clerk was friendly and got us checked in quickly. Once in our room, we found a dirty wash cloth behind the door from the previous stay and numerous stains in the carpet. Their web site states that there was suppose to be a refrigerator and microwave and each room, ours had neither. The room appeared relatively clean except for the left over wash cloth and stains on the floor. The walls were scuffed and needed painting.

While getting ready for bed, found the mattress to be extremely uncomfortable (hard as plywood) and the pillows so flat that they offered no support at all! Contacted the front desk and requested four additional pillows to add to the four flat pillows we had, after about 10 min, someone came with two pillows, not the four requested. Was a very miserable nights sleep for all.

The next day, we returned after noon and found the maid had came for room service but left the beds unmade, threw hand towels on the sink vanity and not placed in the rack, only left two bath towel for four people and DID NOT pick up the dirty towels or empty the trash! Called front desk and ask if our room had been serviced, she stated that room service had indeed came to our room LOL! I advised her of the condition of the room and the front desk clerk came with bath towels and cleaned up the mess left behind without any apology for what happened.

I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in numerous motels. Some have had some shortcomings but always was made right when made aware. Never have I had maid service halfway done! This is the first negative review I have ever given a motel and truly don't understand how it has got so many positive reviews. On top of everything else, the breakfast was substandard with very little choice of food. There are many other better choices of motels around the same price or less. We will never stay here again!

Hard uncomfortable mattress, very dirty carpet, toilet continues to run, no hot water on Saturday and Sunday morning. The door to room kept malfunctioning, unable to lock it. Noisy heat unit. Breakfast room too small to accommodate all the people. Coffee very weak. Good location though.

Our first stay at this Inn and we really enjoyed it. Very friendly desk clerk. Housekeeping does a wonderful job. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Place was quiet and relaxing.
Plan to stay again soon.
