“Need sheets that fit the bed.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2011

The first impression of this hotel was great - the decor was beautiful and the room smelled so clean.
We had a King Suite and the bed was a pillow-top - but that's the problem. The mattress pad, which was also pillow top and the bottom sheet would not stay on the bed. With every turn and movement,
the pad and sheet came up and we would end up on bare mattress with the pad and sheet in a
bunch. As you can imagine, that is not a pleasant thought - wondering who else had slept on that bare mattress. Had a very difficult time sleeping both nights. We were with another couple who was in the room next door and they had the same problem.
They had a very nice breakfast, which was free to guests, but the room where they had tables and chairs was way too small for the number of people who tried to get breakfast there. If you waited very long after nine o'clock, the line for a table was out the door.
We looked at reviews on trip advisor before we chose this hotel and have a hard time beleiving that no one else had the 'bed' problem.

Thank you for the review and your business. I appreciate hearing from you. I am sorry that a new housekeeper put the wrong sheets on your bed. I checked with the front desk and housekeeping staff and was told you did not tell them or the sheets would have been changed immediately. Again, I thank you for your business and your review. M. D. Very nice large updated rooms. Parking was close to rooms but had to walk up ramp to room.
would be very hard for handicapped person. If there was buses parked during peak season, There would be a long walk to rooms and very little parking space for cars. Also the breakfast was so so, just eggs (not real ones),some fruit cocktail, cereal and waffles. I don't eat waffles so it was eggs, fruit cocktail, bagel or nothing. after 2 days it was definitely go somewhere else for breakfast. Also the dining room was so small there was people waiting to get a place to sit every morning. I couldn't imagine how it would be if it was full vacancy. thumbs up for the rooms thumbs down for the so called hot breakfast.

Yellow Rose was a nice hotel. Breakfast was a little disapointing as there was no meat, but plenty of other choices. It also is a little hard to find. Be sure to have a good map or GPS.

We enjoyed the comfortable bed, and clean room. The staff overall was most helpful, especially Irene and her daughter at breakfast. Quiet location, a little difficult to find, but overall a good experience. We found it difficult to navigate the stairs as there is no elevator, and we had to climb two flights of stairs with baggage for a week.

Room Tip: Book a first floor room if mobility is a problem for you.

The Hotel was wonderful. I wish there was smoking rooms available but at least having an outside entrance and exit helped. We could smoke directly outside our door instead of exiting to a hallway and having to walk downstairs and then outside to smoke. The breakfast was very good and the personnel was extremely helpful and very friendly. I certainly would hope that this dining area could be enlarged extremely so people would have plenty of tables to go to directly to sit down. The personnel did everything in their power to seat everyone as quickly as possible. Also for people who need it, it would be nice to have sugar free syrup for their waffles. It would also be nice to have pancakes on the menu and some sausage links or bacon to choose from. Also the eggs could have some cheese and green and red peppers for flavoring. The main thing is to just enlarge it extremely. Having a large dining room will keep people from having to go out to restaurants to eat breakfast. Flavored coffee and coffee creamers would also be nice. I am used to drinking flavored cappachino but I made do. We will definitely come back as soon as possible.

Thanks for staying with us. We were full when you were here and unfortunately everyone wanted to eat at the same time. We are adding a nice outdoor dining area in our off season so guests will have another place to eat when staying with us. Thanks again for staying with us. We appreciate your business. We stayed a full week at the Yellow Rose and they made it a wonderful week. All the folks there were very helpful and super nice from the front desk, maids, and the breakfast crew. It is located close to Branson but far enough out that is is a very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was a full breakfast, not just donuts and coffee. The room was always clean and the beds were very comfortable. My wife and I will stay here the next time we go to Branson.
