“Great relaxing vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2011 via mobile

My Fiancée and I just got back from a 4 night stay at Cooper Creek. We stayed in cabin 9 which was perfect for us. It has a full kitchen and even a coffee pot! Lol. It also had a nice sized picnic table and a charcoal grill on the porch which was nice to sit in the mornings and have a nice cup of coffee! We were maybe 50-60 yards from the water, they have two boat docks with slips for boat, chair and benches, yes benches : ) for fishing. I caught a few trout on one of the benches... Took me awhile to get ahold of it but it was fun! There is also to inclosed cleaning stations for the fish on the dock. Really cool! The staff was awesome, we would leave our towels in a sack they give you to leave all your dirty towels and such in and when they say leave it out by 11 they mean it lol we go fresh, cleans towels in 5 min. My grandparents brought their 5th wheel that was parked right behind us and we could walk through an opening in the fence which was hidden ( the fence overlapped itself do you couldn't tell there was a gap till you got in front of it) they loved their camp spot. No problems with hook ups and setting everything else. Yes there are no concrete lots but they are gravel and well kept. Beauitful scenery! We had an awesome, relaxing time! I would highly recommend this place for couples and families! We can't wait to go back!

The rain cause an extremely muddy mess at our campsite as there is NO concrete slab at ANY site ... the 75 sites are TOO CLOSE to each other for much privacy. The campsite is NOT VERY LEVEL. With 75 sites, there are only TWO RESTROOMS for a total of FOUR TOILETS and FOUR SHOWERS (per gender). The PLUS is free trout fishing off the dock ... but trout fishing on the Taneycomo is free ANYWAY.

Will NOT be using this resort again.

this was my first vacation so my husband said that we should rent a cabin. I have a 5 lb dog, so that is why we chose cooper creek. The room smelled like pee.We stayed in a one bedroom cabin for 3 nights. We were very disappointed. It is close to town and on a good location on the lake, so we were looking forward to some fishing and relaxing. First of all the cabins were very disappointing. Old furniture with sheets for slip covers, sandpaper towels. There were no less than 20 notes spread about the cabin saying do this, don't do that. They were everywhere in every room! We felt very uncomfortable there. We tried to go fishing but the boats were going up and down and the waves were making the dock rock .
I told my husband that it looked like human poop floating down the river and he said that it was when he came over and looked an there was a BIG turd floating down the river along with some toilet paper. It became evident to us at this point that one of the many resorts along the river had a sewage problem. We decided against any activities in or around these waters. It's a shame that people are allowed to pollute the enviroment of a once beautiful place in pursuit of a dollar.

My husband and I were supposed to stay in Arkansas at Beaver but with all the rain we have had it was flooded. So we decided to go to Branson and found Cooper Creek. We are so glad we stayed here! Very cheap and very friendly staff!! They have 2 very nice pools!! We stayed in our camper but the cabins looked very nice!! Great place to do your laundry and very clean bathrooms!! We will definitly be returning!!

Prior to our visit, I checked the available reviews and debated about making reservations. I am SOOOOO glad I didn't let the bad ones deter us from staying here. It is the most pet friendly park we have stayed in. The park is well maintained and the fishing docks are perfect for kicking back and relaxing and still going back to your campsite with your limit of nice trout. The store is well stocked with basic food items and fishing necessities (plus a little ice cream for the wifey) and the prices are reasonable. As for the supposed rudeness of the staff, we found it to be quite the opposite. Nancy in particular was extremely helpful, informative and FRIENDLY. I did happen to be in the office using the WiFi a couple of times when very rude customers made unreasonable requests (demands) and then got angry when they couldn't bully the staff into doing what they wanted. The staff remained business like and as polite as possible under the circumstances. We wouldn't hestitate to recommend this park to our friends. Like MANY of the other campers we met during our stay, we plan to revisit this park as often as possible.

Cooper creek was awsome, most places wont let you bring your dogs but the owners were very nice about letting us have our dogs with us, they just asked us to cover the chairs and couch with sheets that they provided us with, very reasonable understanding people down there, the bad thing was the fishing, this place is supposed to be all known for trout, well they dumped a ton of trout by docks and there were a large amount that were dead, lying at the bottom, the other fish mainly stayed away, and the ones that came around wouldnt bite, we were bouncing the bait right off their heads. but i suppose it was bad luck that they dumped the fish the day we came. other than that it was a great place, service was great, clean towels daily, full size kitchens, and plenty of beds. the owners were very nice, and was surprised about the pricing in the office, drinks and food are nearly priced at walmart prices. i recommend this place for people of any age, i am 17 years old and enjoyed it, went with both sides of my family. and everyone seemed to enjoy it. young and old. for the fishing though i would reccomend bringin your boat or renting a boat and head twords to table rock. amazing fishing there. not too far away from the cooper creek area either. im for sure going back next summer.

Been there five or six times.
at one time they had skunks running loose in the campground for some time. My dog got skunked, went back the next year skunks were gone, and i was told the reason for was because of dog getting skunked, thes people traped all the skunks and got rid of them and felt bad about what had happend.this is the type of place you walk around after dinner.Late night sitting on the dock with your sweetie,Playing cards on the deck, swimming, ect. So shut the hell up about this being a bad place to come.I love it,and they even know who i am when i call.
