“Can't wait to return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2007

Our first family road trip to Branson. It took 9 hours and we were tired by the time we arrived but pleasantly surprised at the beautiful resort. We split our time share so we only had a studio room in Branson but it was more than enough room for us. The location was wonderful - a few blocks off the strip but easy to find everything in town. The grounds were beautiful and we especially loved the outdoor pool - my son (7 years old) never wanted to leave the pool. Had a few sprinkles one day and made use of the indoor pool then. Staff was very friendly and happy to help with anything or answer questions. Our first night was noisy due to neighbors above and beside us. We requested a room change the next morning and they met our needs immediately - never had a problem after that. Would definitely stay here again!

Spend an afternoon at Moonshine Beach on Table Rock Lake ($4.00 per car). They have clean restrooms, playground and picnic pavillion and spotless beach - worth a trip there. Also, we spent an afternoon at the State Park Marina where we went on the Spirit of America Catamarran (2 hour trip). Well worth the $20 charge. They take you out to the middle of Table Rock Lake and tow a giant water trampoline, inflatable climbing iceberg and kayaks. Everyone is provided with life jackets and just jump in. We had a blast - definitely put on your agenda!!!!

We had never been to Branson or ever stayed in the Horizons by Marriott..but it was absolutely AWESOME! We had the two bedroom suite, which we shared with friends and it made for the perfect vacation accomodations. They were HUGE with a great kitchen, living room, washer and dryer and fully stocked kitchen. The grounds were gorgeous...the pools and spas perfect and everyone was so helpful and courteous. I'd highly recommend this to anyone!

If you're coming in on Highway 65, make sure you stop at Lambert's to eat. What a great place!!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom lock out unit for a week starting the Friday before Memorial weekend. The property was great. The grounds were immaculate and the units themselves were very clean and in very good condition. We had a washer/dryer in the main unit as well as a full kitchen. The lockout had a small fridge, microwave and dishes and glassware. Each side of the units had a sofa sleeper so 8 people could sleep in a 2 bedroom. The resort is still being built so it is small, but was definately not lacking in amenities. There was a large out door pool with 2 hot tubs as well as an indoor pool and another hot tub. Both area's also offered a dedictaed smakk childrens pool. The outside childrens pool had sprinklers at a walk in level which was nice.We enjoyed the game room which had among other things, fooseball, ping pong, pool and checkers. While we did not participate in any of the actual kids activities there seemed to be quite a few things to pick from. They even offered a campfire and smores one evening. The resort is very close to the strip and right up the hill from a go cart track and Pirates Cove mini golf. There was construction going on with the addition of another building coming soon so you will experience noise during the day starting around 8:00 A.M. Generally the construction stopped around 5:00. We enjoyed the nice BBQ area's on the property and my son and grandson enjoyed swimming. We spent quite a few of our days taking in Bransons attractions and shows and had some down time in the evenings. I would definately return to this resort again without hesitation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful vacation club.
Rooms and condos were very nice, extremely clean. Everything we needed for a vacation was right at hand, several beautiful pools with waterfall, hot tubs, outdoor activities such as volleyball-shuffleboard etc. we epically enjoyed cooking on the outdoor grills and sitting by the fire ring at night near the pool. There were so many daily activities to choose from for all ages. The ice cream social by the pool was my favorite.
The staff was outstanding and quite helpful. There are so many things close by for kids to do. What a great place for a vacation!

We just returned from a week in Branson. Our stay at the Horizons by Marriott was WONDERFUL!! Such a beatiful place and everyone was so accomodating and helpful. It is off the "strip" but easy access to everything - a wonderful place to get away from traffic and shows. The shows were great and you have to eat at the Hard Rock Diner. Food and entertainment are outstanding - we ate there 3 times. The new Branson Landing is a "must see" - OUTSTANDING. Save your money on the train ride - food was adequate but what you saw from train was lacking.

We traded our timeshare with Interval International to book at Horizons because we wanted a vacation close to home (Kansas City). We stayed for 5 nights over Labor Day weekend. I was pleasantly suprised that the resort (especially the pool area) never seamed too crowded. The pool area was very nice. The pool seamed a bit chilly so we spent most of our time in the Kiddie pool with our 2 year old (we were always the only ones in it). Our one-bedroom villa was nice and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook most of our meals in-house. We went to the grocery store and bought some steaks to cook out on there grills. My only complaints: 1) Their play area for children was simply a slide. The indoor play area their website mentions wasn't open at any time we tried to enter. 2) No on-site restaurant or grill(I think they had a few snacks available at the pool cabana which was only open from 11-3). The location is good, but the main street in front of the resort was often very busy and it was difficult to get to and from the resort during busy traffic (as with most places in branson).

  • Liked — Spacious one-bedroom villa.
  • Disliked — No dining options.
  • Tips/Secrets — Nice branson location, close to the lake and most activities, but still away from the busiest areas of town.

Just back back from our summer vacation in Branson with 2 small kids.

The resort was very clean and had no complaints. Staff was very nice and friendly.
Walmart and grocery store right down the road. Buy some stuff to grill and use the grills outside to make lunch and dinner.

We had a lock off unit on the 5th floor.

The grounds and pools were excellent. Water was a little chilly though.
They could of heated it a few degrees more.

The rooms are a little smaller than the Horizons in Orlando and the lock off unit did not have it's own balcony. Other than that, it was great.

Have no fears of booking here.
