“Great family resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

We stayed here for four days while traveling through Missouri. The rooms were clean and a good size. They had a sofa bed, table with chairs, sink, microwave and small refrigerator. The only thing I would have liked that was not available was a safe in the room. The pool area was very nice, with the opportunity to order food and drinks - but only until 6 pm. They played games at the pool, which the kids enjoyed. They offered a lot of other activities as well - movies, games, fire pit. The location is very close to all of the many Branson activities. Unfortunately, there is not a restaurant onsite and no room service available. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the resort.

We just returned from a week long stay with our daughter, son-in-law and two year old grandson and can endorse that this place is geared for families! We stayed in a very nice, clean two bedroom, two bathroom villa. The beds were very comfortable and we had an adequate amount of closet space. The roomy second bedroom had a sofa bed in which our grandson slept. The living room also had a sofa bed which we did not use. The villa had a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes, glasses, pots and pans. The second bedroom also had an additional microwave, mini fridge and sink. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed at our disposal. They even provided enough extra paper towels, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent for the entire stay. The unit also had a washer and dryer which is always a plus!

The resort offered lots of activities every day which was a great option if we didn't have plans for a show or other outing. There is a small basketball court, whiffle ball diamond and shuffle board area. There was also a frisbee golf course. The pools were great-both indoor and outdoor offered hot tubs, kiddie pool and main pool. Daily there was either an ice cream social at the pool or a s'mores event at the fire pit. There is a game room with pool, ping pong, video games, and tons of board games and tables. The "Clubhouse" is the area where kids can go to do crafts, but they also hosted a ladies spa day there where lotions and nail polishes were provided for manicures.

The front desk was courteous, cheerful and helpful. Popcorn was provided in the lobby beginning at 2:00 and was great to take back to the room with a movie. A variety of movies were available to rent for $2.00.

This was our first time in Branson and were pleasantly surprised at the amount of things to do. My husband and I took a dinner cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle and thoroughly enjoyed it. The price was reasonable, the dinner good and the entertainment was outstanding. We took the entire family to the Dixie Stampede and highly recommend this show. The dinner was more than generous (we took home two bags of food) and the entertainment is fast paced and lively. Our grandson loved it! We also visited beautiful Table Rock Lake, fed the trout at Shepherd of the Hills fish hatchery and toured the educational Dewey Visitor Center. Branson Landing located on the waterfront of Lake Taneycomo was also a worthwhile outing. There are many interesting shops and eateries from which to choose. We especially liked watching the hourly fountain and fire display as the music played.

If you are looking for a great place to have some great family fun, this would be our suggestion!
"We had great accommodations"--our rooms were nice and very clean plus comfortable beds. We had 3 rooms for our family gathering---we had 1 villa/ king bedrm. and 2 delux suites.
"Great pools" ( races for the kids, karaoke, and The Hitching Post at the outside pool served drinks and food.) Lots of activities for the kids plus served smores next to the fire pit in the evening. Beautiful grounds!
"Great location"-- Easy driving to many of the tourist attractions. Very nice staff. This was our 2nd experience with Marriott and was very pleased! If we visit Branson again we'll be back!
Thanks Marriott!
PS. "DO CALL EARLY IF YOU WANT A ROOM OR VILLA AT THIS LOCATION! as they were fully booked when I called back to see if any more rooms available as we had someone wanting to join our party.

Room Tip: Our rooms were altogether as I had requested---a bit noisey but we were also located in building 1 o...

This place is smaller than it's sister timeshare in Orlando (Harbor Lakes) but offers plenty. Activities non-stop and movies at night to relax after the sun. We exchanged with points because we wanted to boat on Tablerock Lake. Our two bedroom layout had only two beds and two sofa beds. Sofa beds are awful and kids had to alternate turns sleeping on bed. Wish they had two queen in the spare bedroom like our home resort. The beds are very comfortable and after skiing and tubing all day, you just want a good sleep. Small snack bar on facility. Plenty of parking and friendly staff. Used the concierge often for rainy day offerings. Place is convenient on the yellow trail. Definitely would come back again.

Room Tip: For quiet rooms, pick bldg 4, garden view.

The rooms and grounds were kept very clean. Despite being at capacity, the property did not seem crowded. We had a great time at the pool. This place is very nice for families.

The only complaint I have is the housekeeping staff was at our door promptly at 10am (which is check-out) to make sure we were leaving. I have no issue with this because we were in fact on our way out. However, I took exception with the fact the same woman harassed us in the elevator about whether or not we had vacated the room. This episode upset me so much because we had requested an early check-in when we arrived and I was told that someone was still in the room (at 1pm). The manager on duty seemed in no hurry to accommodate us when we arrived but made sure we left promptly at 10am the day of our departure.

Room Tip: Be sure you get a villa.

Beautiful views, great location just off the green route, family friendly. Indoor and outdoor pools. Activities for the whole family. It was fall when we went there and the colors were beautiful. They held crafts, and basket weaving classes, the also served smores outside next to a fire pit. Our kids did not want to leave.
