The Hotel is beautifully decorated but very small visiting room and lobby. If you have more than 4 in your party it is extremely difficult to all be in the same area. Dining room very small and gets really crowded for seating and trying to fix your food. The dining room staff were exceptionally nice and accomodating, but needed more support from staff. We will never stay there again because of front desk and check in procedures.

My husband and I stayed at the Barrington on our honeymoon. It was absolutely gorgeous. We travel to Branson frequently, and yet, I was unfamiliar with this hotel. It is definately one of Branson's best kept secrets. Not only is it away from the the hussle and bussle of the "main drag," but the hotel is beautifully decorated and most importantly very clean!

We had reserved a junior suite, but when we got to the hotel late on our wedding night, we had been upgraded to the Presidential Suite! The private balcony (although it could have had a better view) and hot tub were wonderful amenities. The bed was super soft, as were the pillows. The bathroom is huge! There is a kitchenette and a large TV that swivels towards the bed or the in-room hot tub. The hot continental breakfast is served by actual chefs. They do have a public spa and pool, although we didn't use them.

I would definately recommend the Barrington for any occassion, and the Presidential Suite for a special occassion. My only warning: Put your "DO NOT DISTURB" sign out. At 9:00am, while we were still sleeping, we had a maid knocking on our door wanting our towels. About 30 minutes later, a gentleman was knocking on the door for the same reason. They obviously like to get their towels as soon as possible in the morning.

Room Tip: I don't think you could go wrong with any room at this hotel.

Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Extremely clean and quiet. We stayed in one of the King suites for our anniversary. Felt like we were the only ones there at times. Not hard to get to and don't have to mess with the heavy traffic on the main road. My only complaint was the mattresses were too firm. Overall, would deffinately recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: King suite has a large whirlpool tub in room.

This was my family of four's 2nd stay at the Barrington. It's furnishings are up-to-date, beds are comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. You can even get coupons on their website. We will stay here again. It's off the main strip but close to everything. My only complaint is the breakfast. I am thankful it was free. It didn't have many choices I liked.

Reserved 2 rooms for my family. The check in was easy adn the clerk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were updated and very clean with quality linens. The free breakfast was outstanding and included a great variety of "cotinental" items to include waffles. The hotel is a little off the beaten path but well worth the value. This hotel exceeded my expectations in area.

Great last minute decision to stay here due to bad weather. Gracious staff at checkin, which was a breeze. Coming out of the cold into a warm lobby with a raging fire was fantastic late at night.

Breakfast was standard fare, breads, cereal, muffins, hot waffles, hardboiled eggs, canned fruit, donuts, juice and watery coffee.

The rooms have been updated recently, and were very comfortable. The heater was odd, as it didn't allow an on / auto option, making it a little hard to get to sleep because it kept turning itself on and off every few seconds.

Fast free wireless was a plus. Ice cream vending machine was great for a treat.
I will definitey stay again.

The remodel IS lovely. I was VERY impressed. Sometimes you can tell if a hotel is on its way out, this is definitely not the case here.

Everything was clean and orderly. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

I thought the breakfast was over the top for the price, very nice. Both sausage and hard boiled eggs for protein options. Thought the waffle making stations was fun. A lot better than some cereal and cold donuts.

We had a great time in the pool. Someone in the elevator mentioned it was cold for her baby, but the teens and child in group were fine. The pool area looks so nice, they even had padded seats in addition to the regular deck chairs.

Location: It's a place to stay, not to enjoy views, that was fine with us. The view out the window was not great.

Rooms: probably on the small side, but if you are going to be out and about, wouldn't matter. If you have small kids in tow and are more centered in your room, it might be a little tight but not a deal breaker. We didn't sleep well with the heat/ac unit switching on and off all night. I even turned it off and it still switched on and off, not sure what's up with that. I was so happy with everything else, I didn't care. I thought the bathroom was especially nice, they have make-up remover wipes. The counter was granite and the vanity was actually pretty and not utilitarian.

Will be telling friends about this place!
